We hope to see you there!Arrests:3:16pm Mission/Ottawa NarcoticsIngleside Officer Padilla and Archilla were on routine patrol in an area where they have made numerous arrests for narcotics and related crimes. On this afternoon, they noticed an older Geo Prizm parked for some time in the “green” zone. The officers exited their patrol car and approached the man and woman sitting inside the Prizm. A computer check revealed the woman was on active felony probation from Alameda County for receiving stolen property. The man was on active misdemeanor probation out of San Mateo County with a search condition for petty theft. Padilla and Archilla asked for assistance and within minutes Ingleside Officers Chew, Dominguez, Hopkins, and MacKenzie joined them at the scene. The officers asked both occupants to exit the vehicle so it could be searched. As the woman exited she tried to surreptitiously push and object under her seat. The officers retrieved the package which was a bundle of methamphetamine weighing more than 16grams. She was arrested for possession of methamphetamine and transported to Ingleside Station for booking. Her companion was released. It was a vehicle the officers were familiar with having stopped the same vehicle, for several vehicle code violations, two days earlier. At that time the driver, with an extensive criminal history, was given a citation for speeding. On this morning the officers maneuvered their patrol car behind the double parked Audi just as the driver exited a home, jumped into the Audi, and sped away at a high rate of speed. The officers activated their emergency lights and siren but terminated the chase out of concern for public safety as the Audi driver sped through several intersections ignoring stop signs. Ingleside Officers Wise and Hoge responded to her home where she related that while walking her dog, on Mangels Avenue she noticed a car driving slowly down the street. While making the statement, the victim told the officers, the driver was holding an object that appeared to be a black handgun. After seeing the firearm, the woman sprinted home and called police. The officers stopped their patrol car and approached the T-Bird which had two occupants, a man and woman. The woman passenger was holding a lighter in her left hand and had a leather pouch with a significant quantity of methamphetamine. Both occupants were cited for possession of narcotics and released at the scene. Report number: 160760437Serious Incidents:4:15pm Persia/Mission RobberyA 14year old student, waiting for the Muni bus, was approached by four other juveniles who demanded his property. The four cornered the victim against a wall, went through his pockets, taking a cell phone and ear phones, before running away. The student, along with his mother, went to Ingleside Station and reported the robbery to Ingleside Officer Henderson. Report number: 1607615047:00pm Edinburgh/Russia Aggravated AssaultA hit and run accident turned into a much more serious event for one motorist. The victim told Ingleside Officers Labson and Henderson that he was driving northbound on Guttenberg Street when he noticed a gold colored Toyota Camry driving towards him. As the two cars passed, the Camry scraped the side of the victim’s Nissan and kept driving. The victim turned his Nissan around and followed the Toyota for a short distance through several neighborhood streets trying to get the Toyota’s license plate number so he could call police. However, while driving on Edinburgh, near Russia, a passenger in the Toyota leaned out the window with a pistol and fired several shots at the victim. The victim stopped his pursuit and called police. She called police and Ingleside Officers Zasly, Young, and Parker responded. The officers found the driver of the van sitting on the steps of a nearby home. When asked by the officers if he needed medical attention the driver responded, “Hell no. I don’t need medical attention, I’m drunk”. The suspect failed a roadside sobriety test which confirmed his assessment. At Mission Station a chemical breath test revealed a blood alcohol level almost twice the legal limit. The suspect was taken to San Francisco County Jail and booked for D.U.I. Too tired and too scared to investigate, he fell back to sleep until 8 in the morning. He told Ingleside officers Cvetovac and Monroe that several thousand dollars in cash was missing. Fegan was on patrol when he spotted a suspicious vehicle at a gas station parking lot. The vehicle had no front license plate and there was a sun shade covering the inside of the windshield. Sgt. Fegan found the driver asleep inside the vehicle. Fegan tapped on the window and woke up the occupant. He asked for identification and, at first, the driver didn’t respond. When he did, Fegan discovered the driver was wanted on a felony warrant out of San Mateo County. Inside the car was heroin and cocaine along with a pipe used to smoke the narcotics. The suspect, with the help of Ingleside Officers Ortega and Zasly, was taken to Ingleside Station and booked for the warrant and possession of narcotics. Report number: 1607543053:35pm Unit Blk Blythedale WarrantA man who had several previous contacts with police was spotted by Ingleside Officers Barajas and Lustenberger. The officers knew the suspect was wanted on a no bail misdemeanor warrant from an Alameda County court. He was quickly placed in custody and a search of his clothing revealed significant quantities of a prescription narcotic. The suspect was arrested and transported to Ingleside Station of booking. Report number: 1607555416:00pm Geneva/Naples RobberyA woman waiting for the bus and talking on her IPhone was approached by three juveniles, two men and a woman. One of the suspects grabbed the victim’s phone and, along with his partners in crime, fled eastbound on Geneva. A witness, driving by, called police while following the suspects. The suspects ran into the Crocker-Amazon playground, through the parking lot, and onto a pathway leading into McLaren Park. Ingleside Officers Hardy, Archilla, Scott, Quintero, and Sgt. Martin responded. Hardy, Scott, and Martin caught up with the suspects in the park and were questioning them when one of the suspects bolted away with Officers Scott and Hardy in pursuit. Officer Quintero and Sgt. Martin stayed with the two other suspects while the third suspect ran into the nearby neighborhood, but not for long. He was located by Officer Archilla hiding under a car on Dublin Street and arrested. All three suspects were transported to the Juvenile Justice Center for booking. The cab driver told Ingleside Officer Washington that he was flagged down by a customer near Mission and Park Street. The customer told the cab driver to take him to the Casino. The driver was driving on southbound #280 freeway when suddenly the passenger accused the driver of not taking the correct way to the Casino. An argument ensued and the driver said he would not take him to the Casino and instead would drive him back to the location where he first entered the cab. He did that and the passenger, when exiting the cab, punched the cab driver in the shoulder. The suspect then walked to a nearby tavern where he was arrested for battery and other crimes by Officer Washington. Just as the victim turned to see who was running up from behind him, an unknown man grabbed his jacket and pulled him to the ground. The victim told Ingleside Officers Lozano and McCall the suspect then kicked and punched him in the face and legs before taking his jacket containing keys and cash and escaping in a Grey Nissan Sentra. The victim was transported to San Francisco General for treatment of his injuries. Report number: 16074850210:40am 100 Blk Rousseau Hot Prowl BurglaryA man returned home from work, and was changing his clothes, when he noticed a cool breeze blowing through his home from the kitchen. He walked toward the kitchen and asked “who’s there?” He didn’t get an answer but he did hear a loud “thud” from the rear of the home near the back stairs and noticed an open kitchen window. Fearing for his safety, he called “911” and waited for police to arrive. Soon, thereafter, Ingleside officers Valenzuela-Rodriquez, Baldovino, Conceicao and Rodriquez arrived and searched the home for the suspects. They didn’t find the suspects but they did discover that the burglar had pried open and removed the screens on two back windows. The officers also discovered that the burglar had rummaged through items in the basement. The homeowner was unsure what, if anything, was taken by the suspect. When they arrived store security and the store manager told the officers that an unknown suspect had taken four turkey/ham party trays and walked out of the store without paying. A security officer confronted the suspect and asked him to return to the store to either pay for or return the party trays. But the suspect refused and instead took out a knife and threatened the security officer. The suspect then walked across the street and boarded a #49 Muni bus headed for downtown. Report number: 1607491967:56pm 1400 Blk Sunnydale Aggravated AssaultThe sound of gunshots startled Ingleside Officers Scott and Hardy who were on duty at the SFPD substation on Sunnydale Avenue. The officers alerted dispatch and determined the gunshots appeared to come from the nearby market. Scott and Hardy, along with several other Ingleside officers traveled to the market and discovered several .25cal casings in front of the market. Inside, witnesses and employees told the officers that an unknown suspect fired several shots while standing outside the market. The suspect then walked into store and fired several more shots injuring a customer in the leg. The suspect then ran out of the market and escaped in a gray Ford Escape. An ambulance was called and the wounded victim was transported to San Francisco General for treatment. The officers also found bullet holes in two vehicles parked near the market. Department investigators have been assigned to the case and are reviewing witness statements as well as security camera video. The resident, hoping whomever was twisting his door knob would go away, just ignored the noise. But the intruders didn’t go away. The resident opened the bathroom door slightly and saw two men, one holding a pistol, in his living room. One of the suspects, seeing the resident peeking at him from behind the bathroom door, walked toward him demanding “money, money, money”. The victim retreated behind the bathroom door and braced it with his body to prevent the intruders from gaining access. After a few minutes, the resident opened the door and discovered the suspects had left his apartment. The police were called and Ingleside Officers Kikuchi and Williams arrived a short time later. The victim’s wallet was found on a stairway missing hundreds of dollars in cash. No other valuables were taken by the burglars. The victim told Ingleside Officer Alejandrino that he was drinking at a bar on the 3300 block of Mission Street and decided to walk home when the bar closed at 2am. The next thing he remembers was being at the Safeway Store on the 3300 block of Mission four hours later without his cellphone, headphones, wallet, and shoes. The victim said he had those items when he left the bar before and believed he was robbed on the street by the evidence of bumps and bruises on his body. He told Officer Alejandrino that he doesn’t remember the robbery because he blacked out after drinking too much alcohol at the bar. She told Ingleside Officers Cuenca and Ocreto that she closed the door and noticed that her purse containing cash, driver’s license, wallet, and house and car keys was missing from a kitchen table near the back door. The officers searched the home and concluded that the suspect or suspects entered the residence through the unlocked rear door. When they arrived they found the man being treated for laceration to his forehead and a bruised right eye. He told the officers that he was walking home on Huron near Sickles when he heard footsteps behind him. Before he could turn around, the victim said the suspect hit him in the face causing him to fall to the ground. The victim said he remembered someone going through his pockets before losing consciousness. When he awoke 15 minutes later, he noticed his wallet was missing containing cash and identification. When he got home noticed his injuries and went to Seton Medical Center for treatment. Thank you.Arrests:3:30pm Unit Blk Chenery BurglaryIngleside Officers Paras, Tien, Lustenberger, and Barajas and numerous other units were dispatched to a home on the unit block of Chenery after a report of a burglar, wearing a motorcycle helmet and leather jacket, who escaped into backyards in the neighborhood. The Chenery property manager told the officers he heard a scream “thief” from one of his renters, and saw the suspect running down the front stairs of his apartment house. The witness chased the suspect northbound on Chenery Street until the burglar jumped over a fence and disappeared. The officers placed a perimeter around the area and searched homes, rooftops, and backyards before finding and arresting the suspect on 30th Street between Dolores and San Jose Avenue. He had discarded the helmet and jacket and was wearing clothing stolen from one of the homes. Report number: 160733133
