Officers Hauscarriague, Burke and McMilton were on patrol when the spotted a known suspect riding her bicycle on the sidewalk.  The suspect had several prior police contacts.  The officers stopped the suspect and conducted a probation search.  The suspect was in possession of narcotics and was taken into custody.  Report 110431826

Officers Apodaca and Gabriel were on patrol when they witnessed a vehicle run a stop sign at a high rate of speed.  The officers stopped the vehicle and contacted the driver.  The driver did not have a valid license and was in possession of suspected marijuana.  Report 110432028

Officers Dudley and Gonzalez were on patrol when the spotted a known suspect.  A records check revealed that the suspect had an outstanding warrant.  The officers took the suspect into custody.  Report 110432040

Officers Benavidez and Otaguro responded to a report of an arson.  The officers saw a small fire on a staircase leading to the victim’s home.  The SFFD responded to put the fire out.  The victim told the officers that she saw a known suspect on her stairs.  The suspect yelled out threats and obscenities before fleeing.  The victim then realized her staircase was on fire.  Report 110433270

Officer Baldovino was on patrol when he was flagged down by a witness.  The witness told the officer that she saw two suspects break a window on a vehicle.  The witness yelled at the suspects and they fled to a nearby building.  Attempts to locate the suspects were unsuccessful.  The owner of the vehicle could not be contacted.  Report 110433327

2:42am               200 Blk Blythdale Ave         Robbery Att.
Officers McCall and Lozano responded to a report of an attempted robbery.  The victim returned home and was about to open his front door.  Six suspects approached the victim and encircled him.  One of the suspects demanded the victim’s wallet and attempted to reach in the victim’s pocket.  The victim started pounding on his door to alert his family he was in trouble.  The suspects fled.  Report 110433383

Officers Ferronato and Benavidez were dispatched to a report of a robbery.  The victim was approached by five suspects.  One of the suspects demanded the victim’s money.  The victim said he was punched multiple times in the face while one of the suspects took his wallet and cell phone.  The suspects fled.  Report 110430470

Officers Benavidez and Ferronato responded to a call of vandalism.  The victim’s window to his business was damaged.  Surveillance video showed a suspect pick up a glass bottle.  The suspect threw the bottle at the window causing the window to break.  Report 110430646

Officer Kabanuck took a report regarding fraudulent use of a debit card.  The victim was alerted by his bank that there were several transactions in two other states on his debit card.  The suspect spent thousands of dollars.  The victim had never lost his debit card and had it in his possession at all times.  Report 110431321

Officers Pai and Araujo responded to a report of vandalism to a vehicle.  The victim discovered all four of her tires were flat.  There were no apparent puncture marks on the tires.  Report 110430953

Officer Kabanuck took a report regarding false personation.  The victim was contacted by a check cashing business regarding a check he cashed.  The check was determined to be cancelled.  The victim said he cancelled the check when he lost his wallet a week prior and had never attempted to cash the check.  Report 110431359

Officer Coles was dispatched to a call regarding gun shots fired.  Several other officers responded.  The victim said she saw a known suspect approach in a vehicle with a second suspect in the passenger seat.  The first suspect yelled a threat to the victim. As the vehicle passed the victim, the second suspect held his a gun out of the window and fired several shots in the air.  The suspects fled.  An attempt to locate the vehicle was unsuccessful.  Report 110431412

Officers Apodaca and Gabriel responded to a report of theft from a vehicle.  A witness heard the sound of glass breaking and looked outside.  He saw a vehicle that had a window smashed and a suspect inside the vehicle that appeared to be rummaging around.  The witness saw the suspect flee with items in his hands.  Report 110432523

Officers Johnson and Bernard responded to a report of a man brandishing a knife.  The officers contacted the suspect who was unsteady on his feet and appeared highly intoxicated.  The suspect had a knife in his rear pants pocket.  Report 110428641

Officers Polovina and Benavidez responded to a report of a robbery.  The victim was looking for a parking space when the suspect approached her driver side door.  The suspect opened her car door and pulled the victim out.  The suspect grabbed the victim’s purse and then proceeded to punch her in the face numerous times until she lost consciousness.  The suspect then fled.  Report 110427176

Officers Muro and LaRocca were dispatched to a report of graffiti.  The victim showed the officers the front of his residence that had been spray painted with blue paint.  The victim was upset because he had just repainted his house.  Report 110427449

Officers Araujo and Pai responded to a report regarding a theft from a vehicle.  The victim stated the window on his car was smashed.  There were several items missing from the car.  Report 110427524

Officer Aslam was on patrol when he was alerted to a bank that might have been robbed. The officers made contact with the tellers in the bank who were in fact robbed.  The victims stated the suspect entered the bank and told them he had a gun and to give them their money.  The suspect fled.  Report 110427712

Officers Pai and Araujo responded to a report of an attempted burglary.  A witness heard pounding next door to him and looked outside.  He saw two suspects and made eye contact with one of them.  The suspects then fled.  The suspects never made entry into the residence.  Report 110427756

Officers Murphy and Wilson responded to a report of graffiti.  The victim showed the officers a sign with writing on it posted to tree directly in front of his residence.  The graffiti appeared to be directed towards the victim because of his religion and the nature of the graffiti. Officer Giannini responded to a report of a burglary.  The victim left her house and locked her door.  All of her windows were also closed and locked.  When she returned home, the window next to her front door was open.  Upon entry, she realized that her home had been ransacked and that several items were missing.  Report 110428099

Officers Barajas and Shugars responded to a report of a restraining order violation.  The victim told the officers that he had a restraining order against a suspect.  The victim’s dogs were barking, which angered the suspect.  The suspect yelled profanities at the dogs and then at the victim.  The restraining order states that the suspect cannot have any personal contact with the victim.  Report 110429417

Officer Ferronato responded to a report of a robbery. The victim said he was parking his car when he was approached by a suspect.  The suspect pointed a gun at the victim and demanded his money.  The next thing the victim remembers is waking up in the hospital.  The victim sustained a laceration under his eye.  Report 110426582

9:30 am     900 blk Ellsworth             Aggravated Assault
Officer Jude and was sent to investigate a dispute between neighbors. The victim in the case told the officer that she has had an ongoing feud regarding garbage. Today the Vitim told the officer that she watched the suspect sweep garbage onto her property, and went to confront the suspect. the suspect started yelling and got so mad that she pulled the broom back in a batters stance and half swung at the victim that was holding her baby in her arms. The suspect stopped short but put fear in the victim and the baby. The victim called the police and the suspect was located and arrested. Report number 110424417

Officers Phillips and Jones responded to a call of a burglary in progress. The officers arrived and located the home in question. The officers looked over the fence and saw two suspects walk out of the backyard door. The officers ordered the two to "Freeze". On suspect took off running w, while the other complied. Other Ingleside officers had already arrived and were assisting. The suspect that ran was caught immediately after jumping the first fence. In all there were 4 suspects in the home. The person in control of the property arrived and refused to neither identify themselves nor sign a citizen’s arrest for any of the trespassers. The detainees were transported for identification and were released except for one suspect that had an outstanding warrant for...Trespassing! Report number 110424990

Officer Gomez responded to investigate a theft case. The victim told the officer that she saw the suspect walk to the freezer isle and removed merchandise. The suspect then moved to the coffee isle and removes two cans of coffee and hides them on his person. The victim watched the suspect walk out of the store without any attempt to pay. The suspect was stopped by the victim and the police notified. The officer discovered that the suspect had a $10,000 outstanding warrant for the same thing! The suspect was booked on the warrant and admonished for the current activity. Report number 110425932

Officers Archilla and Gonzalez were sent to investigate a vandalism incident. The victim told the officers that he had video of the suspect the vandalized his car and wanted him arrested. The video showed the suspect walking out of his house then damaged the victim’s vehicle. The suspect then calmly walked back home.   The officers knocked on the suspect’s door and were greeted by the suspect. The suspect was very nervous and evasive. The officers told the suspect why they were there. The suspect was read his rights and confessed to the vandalism. The suspect was arrested and booked for the vandalism. Report number 110425879

Officer LaRocca was sent to meet with a citizen that wanted to turn in a gun. The citizen told the officer that she was not comfortable having the gun in the house. The citizen told the officer that she feared for the safety of anyone that came to her home while the gun was there. The officer took custody of the gun and gave the caller a receipt. The gun will be booked for safe keeping. Report number 110424348

Officers Barajas and Shugars were sent to investigate a burglary case. The victim told the officers that he received a call from his bank telling him that there were some suspicious activities on his account. The victim told the officers that he became suspicious because his cards are kept at home.  The victim went home and discovered pry marks on the door and once inside, several things missing. Including his wallet with his ATM card. Because of the lack of physical evidence CSI was not contacted. Report number 110426764

Officer Giannini was sent to investigate a robbery incident. The officer met with the victim and learned that two suspect got on the same bus he was on and sat surrounding him.  The suspects told the victim to put his phone in their pocket. The victim ignored the suspects. The suspects then told the victim to give them the phone again, then started to count down 5, 4,3,2,1. When the suspects reached zero, they forced the phone out of the victims hand and exited the bus. The video from the bus was retrieved and booked for evidence. Report number 110424382

Officers Duffin and Hart were sent to investigate a burglary incident. The victim told the officers that he was at home on his laptop in the living room. The victim told the officers that he had to go out to run errands and left his home. His father was upstairs on his computer. The victim left and when he returned he noticed his laptop missing. When he asked his father upstairs about his computer, they both went downstairs to investigate. The chain on the back door in the kitchen was broken and the door unlocked. The suspect made off with over $2000 worth of electronics. Report number 110424661

Officers Sullivan and Padilla were sent to check on a dog bite incident. The officers located the victim that told the following information. She was on her bike, riding when a dog jumped up and bit her on the arm and elbow. The dog was on a leash held by a woman. The woman gave her contact information to the victim.  The dog has had all his shots and the owner gave the Vets name to the officers. The officers were not able to contact A.C.C. the victim refused medical attention. Report number 110425562

5:53 pm     100 blk Los Palmos            Dog Bite
Officers Shugars and Barajas were sent to check on a person that had just been bitten by a dog. The officers located the victim and discovered that the victim was walking by a home when the garage door opened and a dog came out and jumped on and bite the victim. The owner of the dog put it in her car, told the victim that nothing happened and drove away. The officers located a witness that told them they observed the dog bite the victim. The witness also told the officers that this was not the first time this dog has done this. The witness told the officers that the owner hides inside the home and refuses to open her door. The officers knocked on the door, but the resident that was inside refused to open. Report number 110426156

Officers Park and Chang were sent to investigate a robbery incident. The officers located the victim who told them that he was on the bus listening to his Droid X cell phone. the victim was sitting near the exit . The victim told the officers that when the bus stopped to let passengers off, a group of suspects started to exit. The last two turned to him and without notice punched him in the face and tried to pull the Droid out of his hands. The victim did not let go. The suspect left without the Droid and fled.  Report number 110426106

Officers Antonian and Dudley were sent to investigate a battery report. The victim told the officers that a known suspect was waiting outside her door. When the victim exited the suspect attacked her hitting her numerous times on the face. The victim did not lose consciousness but required medical clearance. Report number 110426510

Officers Contreras and Hermosura were sent to investigate a vandalism incident. The victim told the officers that an unknown suspect had slashed the 4 tires on his car while he was at work. The victim told the officers that he had to borrow his bosses’ car to get home only to discover the tires slashed on that car too and sprayed over width paint. Report number 110426805

12:42 am   Unit blk Francis                   DUI Arrest
Officers Polovina and Kneuker were on patrol stopped at a red light. The officers noticed a car in the opposite direction waiting for the light to change to green for them as well. The officers watched as the car went through the red light while still red. The officers stopped the car to issue a citation for the violation. When the officer spoke to the driver he discovered that the driver had slurred speech and a strong smell of alcohol. The driver was asked to perform a field sobriety test. The officers administered the test to the driver which he was unable to do. The driver then blew .18 on the portable breath analyzer (CA limit is .08). The driver of the car was placed under arrest and booked at the station for drunk driving, un-licensed driver and the red light violation. Because of the attention these officers, a dangerous driver under the influence was removed from the roadway. This makes this *****The Best Arrest of the Day*****  Report number 110421015

The victim told the PSA that a known suspect has been leaving messages and that since she did not return any of them; the suspect broke her car window. Officers Curry and Sanchez were sent to investigate a vandalism case. The victim told the officers that he was awoken from his sleep by a loud noise. The victim told the officers that when he went to check he discovered that someone had broken his window. There were no suspects observed. Report number 110421281

3:46 am     5600 blk Diamond     Theft from Auto
Officers Hermosura and Contreras were sent to investigate a theft incident. The victim told the officers that while at home she heard a noise from the front of the house. She went to investigate and discovered that someone had broken out the window of her car parked in front of her home. She also discovered that her Coach purse was now missing. The victim did not see anyone take the purse. Report number 110424031

Police Services Aide Casil from Southern station prepared a report regarding a pickpocket incident. The victim told the PSA that she was on the 44 MUNI line that she entered at Mission and Silver. The victim told the PSA that the bus was crowded and that a male suspect that was standing in front of her was the suspect. The victim told the PSA that the suspect kept pressing up against her and that may have been when he picked her purse. Report number 110416185

Officers Chang and Park were sent to check a burglary scene. The officers spoke to the victim that told them when he got home he noticed pry marks on the front door and security gate. The victim told the officers that entry to the home was not obtained. Photos of the damage were taken and booked as evidence. Report number 110423146

Offices Padilla and Sullivan were sent to investigate a theft case. The victim told the officers that she parked and locked her car and left her backpack containing her laptop in the back seat. When the victim returned 20 minutes later, the window was broken and the backpack and content missing. There were no suspects observed. Report number 110422392

Officers Lim and Chew were sent to investigate a burglary incident. The victim told the officers that while he was at home an unknown suspect rang the doorbell. Since the victim did not recognize the person he walked away and did not answer the door. The suspect could not see the victim but the victim could see the suspect. After a short time the victim heard loud noise from the front door and went to investigate. The Vitim saw a suspect standing at the door in the house. The victim ran upstairs and the suspect fled. Numerous Ingleside Units searched the area for the suspect, but came up negative. Report number 110422530

Officers Chang and Park were sent to investigate a theft case. The victim told the officers that someone had broken over night and broken into her car. The victim told the officers that she had left her purse in the car and now it was gone. She did not see any suspects. Report number 110419800

SFCCPD officer Burlyga prepared a report regarding a theft case. The victim told the officer that he went to the wellness center. The victim placed his backpack in a cubbyhole and went to work out.  When the victim finished his workout he discovered that the backpack was gone. The victim did not see who took his property. Officers Sanchez and Curry responded to investigate a theft case. The victim told the officers that she parked her car and left. The victim told the officers that when she came back to get her car she noticed the door ajar. The victim told the officers that her property was now missing. Officer Curry was able to find finger prints and gathered them fro evidence. Report number 110421322

Officer Dilag was sent to investigate a burglary case. The victim told the officers that when she came home she found an open window that was closed prior. A witness told the officers that she heard furniture moving around. Once the officers made entry they discovered that the home had been ransacked. The officers contacted CSI for them to respond. Officers Lundy and Dilag were sent to investigate a robbery incident. The victim told the officers that while crossing the street someone called out and asked if he could ask him something. The victim stopped and the suspect, along with two other suspects, held him in a head lock. The suspect applied pressure to the point that the victim was about to pass out. The robbery was close to an area that may have cameras. This case has been assigned to an inspector. Report number 110423760

2:50 pm     Moscow/Italy           Traffic Violation Arrest
Sgt Escobar was on patrol when he noticed a car that was swerving. The officer stopped the car and learned that the driver did not have a valid California license. The driver of the car was asked for any type of photo identification, but was not able to produce one. Because it is required in CA to provide ID, the driver was placed under arrest. The officer also found that the driver had never been issued a license. Since the driver had no way of providing proof of his identity, he was arrested and booked for all the traffic violations.  Report number 110419509

Police Services Aide Cato prepared a report regarding a fraud. The victim came to the station and told the PSA that she was notified by her bank that an unknown suspect had charged $500 on her account. The victim has not authorized anyone to use her account. Report number 110420471

Officer Frisk was sent to investigate a vandalism incident. The victim told the officer that while at home she smelled what seemed to be burning hair. The victim asked family member if they knew what was burning. The victim told the officer that when she went to the front door the next morning she discovered burn marks to her front steps. Officer Aslam was sent to investigate a theft incident. The victim told the officer that she was checking her bank account on line when she noticed charges that she had not made. The victim told the officer that she recalled that 0last week one of her co-workers had her ATM card stolen and that the charges were from the same place. The officer was able to contact the stores that the card was used at and request video. Report number 110418385

Sgt Miller was sent to investigate a fight. The victim told the officer that he was driving when he noticed that the car behind him was following too close. The victim told the officer that he pulled over to let the car behind him pass. The victim told the officer that the car instead pulled up and threatened him. The car and driver then pulled away. A search of the area was conducted with negative results. Report number 110415262

Officers Anderson and Brown were sent to investigate a theft from a locked auto. The victim told the officers that he parked and locked his car on the street. The victim told the officers that on his way home today he stopped to check on his car and noticed that the door was unlocked and the radio face plate was missing. The victim told the officers that he has a video set up to monitor his car. The victim was able to give the officers a copy of the video that showed a suspect. The video was given to the inspector in charge of the case. Report number 110417757

Officers Gabriel and Apodaca were sent to investigate a vandalism incident. The victim told the officers that he was home and when he heard a loud crash. The victim told the officers that he looked outside and saw several suspects running away from the home. He had no further information. Report number 110417365

11:55 pm 5800 blk Mission        Robbery
Officer Dilag was sent to investigate a robbery that had just occurred. The victim told the officer that she observed a suspect wearing a ski mask over his head. The suspect had a green jacket that he zipped all the way up and gloves. The suspect walked towards the victim with his hand in his pocket simulating a gun. The suspect told the victim to open the register. The victim complied fearing the suspect may have a gun and shoot her. At the same time a customer entered the gas station and the suspect held him up as well on the way out. The suspect then disappeared in the dark of night.  The assigned inspector at the scene will obtain the video from the store.  Report number 110420891

Officers Apodaca and Gabriel were investigating a theft call. The victim told the officers that a known suspect had taken her phone from her car and fled. Several Ingleside units were assisting in the search for the suspect. The officers were contacted by officers Chan and Guzman advising them that they had a possible suspect detained. The officers responded to the location with the victim for identification of the suspect. The victim identified the suspect positively and he was taken into custody. The suspect still had the stolen cell phone in his pocket. The officers took the suspect to the station for booking and learned that the suspect was on probation for a drug arrest in San Mateo. The suspect was booked for the theft charges. Report number 110416756

5:16 pm     Edna/Havelock           Resisting Arrest
SFCCPD officer Burlyga was patrolling the CCSF campus when he noticed a subject peeking into a construction site that was closed the fact that the subject had no books, backpacks or anything that would suggest he was a student. Since there have been numerous burglaries at the site and the subject did not appear to be a student, the officers’ sense of alertness was heightened. When the subject saw the officer he began to walk away from him. The officers decided to talk to the subject but the subject made a turn and disappeared. The officer broadcast the information and description to other units in the area. Officer Flood radioed that he had located the subject. Both officer ordered the subject to stop and were ignored by the subject. The subject at one point told the officer that he did not need to stop for fake cops. The officers grabbed the suspects arm only for the suspect to pull away and resist their efforts to do their job. The suspect was eventually cuffed after a brief struggle. The officer later discovered that the suspect had prior arrests for resisting an officer. The suspect was booked at Ingleside station. Report number 110417296

Officers Gabriel and Apodaca were sent to investigate a female suspect waiving a tire iron at a person. The officers spoke to the victim and learned the following: the victim was waiting for a parking spot in a lot, when he located a car that was pulling out of a spot. The victim waited for a while then honked his horn to get the attention of the driver to ask if they were leaving. Instead the suspect came out of her car with the tire iron yelling and threatening the victim. The victim did not want any trouble and drove off.  The officers broadcast a description of the suspect and her car. Officers Chan and Guzman located the car and suspect, close by and pulled it over. The suspect began yelling profanities at the officers while still holding on to the tire iron. The officers were able to disarm the suspect without anyone being injured. The victim positively identified the suspect and she was placed under arrest and booked at Ingleside station. Report number 110417155. ******Best Arrest of the Day******

Officers Morse and Kneuker were sent to investigate a robbery incident involving a taxi. The victim told the officers that he was dispatched to an address to pick up a fare. The victim told the officers that once at the address he waited for a few minutes then left when no one approached. The victim told the officers that after he left his dispatch contacted him again sending him back to the same location. The victim went back and as he waited outside a female came out and spoke to him. She asked him why he left the first time and for him to wait while she went back inside to get her shoes. When she went inside, a male masked suspect armed with a silver gun got into the back seat of the cab. The suspect placed the gun to the victims head and demanded the money, then hit him on the head with the gun. The victim handed the suspect $200. The suspect was not happy with the amount and told the victim to give him the rest of the money. The victim told the officers that a second suspect opened the driver side door of the taxi and riffled his pockets and removed another $20. The victim decided that if he was going to get shot it might as well be while he is getting away. The victim hit the gas and as he was driving off the suspect at the front door was knocked to the ground and the one in the back seat lost his balance. Both suspects then fled. Officers Curry and Sanchez were sent to investigate a burglary case. The victim told the officers that he left his home securing it. The victim was called by his daughter-in-law and advised that his bikes were missing from the garage. The garage was the only area that was accessed. Report number 110415610

Officers Curry and Sanchez were sent to investigate a battery incident. The victim told the officers that a known suspect and she became involved in a verbal argument that led to the suspect pushing and scratching the victim. The suspect was asked to leave and she did. The victim received small scratches and did not need medical assistance. Report number 110415256

Officers Sanchez and Curry were sent to investigate a burglary incident. the victim told the officers that he noticed that his PS3 and games were missing from his room along with his stereo system. The victim told the officers that the reason he did not report this sooner was because he did not notice the items missing and there was no damage to any door or window. The victim also told the officers that he has since cleaned the house. Report number 110415472

Officers Thompson and Altamirano were sent to investigate a theft case. The officers spoke to the victim and learned that the victim left his home and discovered his computer missing when he came back. There was no point of entry and no physical evidence. Reserve officer Banta and Officer Frisk were sent to investigate a burglary case. The victim told the officers that she was at biome in bed and had left her window open about 6 inches. The victim woke up to find 2 suspects trying to get in her home through the window. The suspects were spooked, jumped down and fled the area. The area was searched by numerous Ingleside unit, but could not locate them. Report number 110415535
