Sgt Lozada and Officer Archilla observed a woman operating a vehicle while talking on her cell phone.  The officers conducted a traffic stop and contacted the driver and passenger in the vehicle.  The officers found that the vehicle registration was expired.  A records check of the driver revealed that she had a suspended license and a warrant for her arrest. She was taken into custody.  The passenger was also found to have a warrant for his arrest and a stay away order restraining him from contacting the driver.  He was taken into custody.  They were both taken to Ingleside Station and booked.  Report number 110171555

A woman reported to Officer Preston that while she was not home overnight, her roommate had an overnight guest.  When the victim returned home she found that her laptop computer had been stolen from the common area of the apartment.  The victim contacted the suspect who denied any knowledge of the whereabouts of the computer.  Report number 110170529

Officers Benevidez and Gomez responded to a fast food restaurant regarding a theft.  The victim met with the officers and told them that he left his laptop computer on the table while he refilled his soda.  Upon his return he found his computer had been stolen.  Surveillance camera footage showed that two men who had been seated two tables from the victim stole the computer and walked out of the restaurant.  Report number 110171743

Numerous Ingleside Station officers responded to a shooting call.  The first arriving officers found the victim seated in his vehicle suffering from gunshot wounds.    Witnesses stated that several vehicles were seen in the area at the time of the shooting.  The victim was taken to SFGH with life-threatening injuries. Officers Hart, Peregoy and Duffin responded to a report of a mentally disturbed person.  The officers met with the caller who was concerned for the subject.  The officers spoke with the subject and found that she did not fit the criteria for a mental health detention, but discovered that she had two warrants for her arrest.  She was taken to County Jail and booked.  Report number 110167918

A witness observed a man stealing the bread delivery to a market.  The witness informed the store owner who then called for the police.  The witness provided the officers with a suspect description and the license plate of the vehicle he was driving.  The matter will be followed up on by the Ingleside Station Investigative Team (SIT).  Report number 110167350

A man reported to Officer Barajas that he has been receiving harassing text messages from an unknown person for several months.  The victim stated that he has texted back asking for the party to stop and was sent an abusive response.  The victim will ask his carrier to block the number.  Report number 110167598

10:25 am       Unit blk Valley                     Threats
Sgt Miller responded to a fight call with numerous other Ingleside officers.  The officers met with witnesses and the victim.  All related that one of the neighbors in the building became irate regarding the placement of a potted plant in the shared back yard. The suspect picked up a “Club” device and threatened to strike the victim.  The suspect finally dropped the device and fled the residence.  The officers were unable to locate him.  Report number 110167548

Officers Pai and Bernard responded to a burglary call.  The officers found that a store front window of a unoccupied business was damaged, but there was no merit to a burglary.  The party responsible for the store front was notified of the damage to the property.  Report number 110167532

Officers Gomez and Benevidez responded to a dog bite incident.  The officers met with the victim who stated that he had been bitten by a pit bull dog that was on leash being walked by a child.  The victim stated that an adult was with the child and was walking three pit bull puppies.  The victim was riding his bicycle past the dog walkers when the adult dog bit his thigh causing a minor injury.  The dog walkers entered a home on Leland and did not provide the victim with their information.  Report number 110168728

Officers Yuen and Paras responded to a noise complaint.  The complainant signed a citizens’ arrest for the neighbor regarding noise.  The officers contacted numerous other neighbors to get a second complainant, per department policy, and none of the other neighbors had heard any noise.  The resident was admonished by the officers regarding noise.  Report number 110169334

06:12 pm       4900 blk Mission                 Burglary/Robbery/Burg Tools
Officers Shugars and Kneuker responded to a call at a grocery store.  The officers were told that the suspect had fled in a vehicle and provided the license plate of the vehicle.  Officers Gomez and Benevidez responded to the address associated with the vehicle and located and detained the suspects. The officers discovered that a male suspect had entered the store wearing an empty back pack.  The suspect broke the lock to a glass case which held expensive liquor with a tool he had in his possession.  The suspect then went into the bathroom and loaded the backpack with the liquor and walked out of the store.  The loss prevention officers witnessed the suspects activities and stopped him outside of the store.  The suspect fought the security officers and ran into a vehicle which had pulled up, being driven by a woman.  A third person, a male was seated in the back of the vehicle.  The suspects fled the area in the vehicle which was subsequently located.  One suspect was identified and booked at Ingleside Station and another was cited and released.  The third suspect was identified and released.  Report number 110166233

Officers Almaguer and Rueca were assisting another officer with an investigation when they observed a subject known to them as a person of interest in several investigations.  The officers contacted the subject and found that he had two no bail warrants for his arrest and had been reported as a missing person.  The officers took the suspect into custody and booked him at JJC.  He was removed from the missing person system.  Report number 100128170

SFCCPD Officer Boyko responded to the campus Wellness Center regarding a theft. The officer met with the victim who stated that his cell phone and cash were stolen from his locked locker.  The victim found the locker intact with the lock still on the locker.  Report number 110164845

SFCCPD Officer Edwards investigated the theft of a laptop computer from the school library.  A student reported that he left his property on a desk in the library while he went to the restroom.  Upon his return his computer was gone but all of his other property was not disturbed.  Report number 110164873

Officer Lim prepared a report documenting a violation of an order.  The victim told the officer that a man who is restrained from her and her home was seen driving by the home by another family member.  The victim wanted the incident documented.  Report number 110166318

09:36 pm       Unit blk Mt Vernon             Robbery w/ Knife
Officers Seavey and Lozano responded to a robbery call.  The officers located the victim and a witness. The victim stated that he was robbed at knifepoint by two African American males who threw him to the ground and kicked him repeatedly injuring him.  The witness, driving by, saw the attack and yelled at the suspects who then fled the area on foot.  The victim stated that the suspect held a knife to his neck, and then beat him when he refused to hand over his property.  The suspect stole the victims’ wallet and iPod.  The victim was taken to SFGH for treatment.  Report number 110166493

Officers Rueca and Almaguer responded to locate two suspects that had outstanding warrants. The officers arrived to a location where the suspects frequent and knocked on the door. The door opened and it was one of the suspects. The officers placed him under arrest and asked him if there was anyone else with him. The suspect answered by saying my girlfriend, can we tell her I’m going to jail? The offices complied; little did the suspect know that the officers knew that his girlfriend was the other suspect with the warrant! Both suspects were pronounced under arrested on their respective warrants. Report number 110162388

Officers Baldovino and Otaguro were on patrol when they noticed a car with the rear window smashed. The officers attempted to contact the owner by phone but were not successful. The officers secured the car and left a note for the owner. A report was generated. Report number110161330

Officers Pai and Araujo were sent to investigate a burglary incident. The property managers showed the officers where someone had gotten into the building and pried mailboxes and doors open.  The suspect was cut and left blood and possible usable prints. CSI was notified and will respond to process the scene.

SFCCPD Officer Hakes prepared a report regarding a theft. The victim told the officer that he placed his things in a locker in the men’s locker room and locked it. When he came back from swimming he discovered that someone had removed his property from his locker. The lock was not damaged. Report number 110162190

Officer Curry was sent to investigate a trespasser. The victim told the officer that there was a person on the property that did not have permission to be there. When the suspect realized that the victim was calling police he fled. The officer searched the area and could not find the suspect. Report number 110159084

Officer Pedersen was sent to investigate a fraud case. The victim told the officer that an unknown suspect has been withdrawing money from her account. The victim noticed when her account was at two cents. Report number 110162297

Police Services Aide Heckenberg-Tognozzi prepared a report regarding vandalism. The victim told the PSA that he parked and locked his car and discovered that an unknown suspect had broken his window. Report number 110159078

Officers Leong and Benavidez were sent to investigate a threats incident. The victim told the officers that while working a suspect became angry at him because of a language barrier. The suspect threatened to come back and harm the victim. Report number 110163392

Officers Rand and Muro were sent to investigate a burglary case. The victim told the officers that he had his car parked in the garage of his home. The victim told the officers that he was leaving in the morning and noticed that his garage door was open and that someone had tampered with his vehicle. No suspects were observed. Officers Gomez and Androvich were sent to investigate a robbery call. the victim told the officers that a lone suspect entered his store and pointed a gun at him. The suspect asked for the money and made the victim get down on the ground. The suspect emptied the cash register and the victims’ pockets. The loss was $600. The suspect fled the scene. Officers Hurwitz, Tam and Daggett were on patrol in an undercover capacity. The observed a male and female subject in a verbal argument that in its self is not against the law, but the female was holding an open bottle of wine. The officers stopped to make sure everything was ok. The female subject started to run when she saw the officers get out of the car. She was caught immediately. The officers conducted a warrants check and discovered that the female had a search condition as a result of her probation. Officer Hurwitz conducted a probation search and found a glass pipe and methamphetamines. The drugs were tested and were positive for methamphetamines. The female was arrested and booked on drug charges and a note sent to her probation officer. Report number 110160990

Officer Najarro was sent to investigate a call regarding medical supplies that were found in the park. The officer located the boxes in the park. The boxes were filled with HIV test kits that had been stolen in San Jose earlier in the morning. The officer was able to find out where they had been stolen from and that there was a police report in San Jose. The company that shipped the boxes was notified as well as the San Jose Police Department. Report number 110158664

Officer Gomez was sent to investigate a burglary case. The victim told the officer that she left home and locked her doors. The officer learned that when the victim came home she discovered her laptop and jewelry missing. The victim told the officer that her room mates’ laptop was also gone. The officer contacted CSI that will be responding later to process the crime scene. Report number 11016091

Police Services Aide Cato prepared a report regarding a vandalism incident. The victim came to Ingleside Station to make this report. The victim told the PSA that he was going to move his car when his neighbor told him that someone had panted the side of his car. The PSA took photos and booked them as evidence. No suspects were seen. Report number 110159868

Officer McMilton prepared a report regarding an assault that took place on school grounds. The Vitim told the officer that she was attempting to separate subjects involved in a fight and was struck on the face by one of them. Report number 110159313

7:54 pm     Silver/Mission             Battery
Officers Shugars and Castillo were dispatched to investigate a battery that had occurred recently. The victim told the officers that he was at the bus stop listening to music on his cell phone. the victim told the officers that three suspects walked up to him and surrounded him. The suspects then began to punch him for no reason. The suspects knocked him to the ground and continued beating him until a passerby intervened. The suspects then began to beat the other victim and eventually stopped and fled the scene. Report number 110543289

Officer Contreras responded to investigate a robbery that had just occurred. The victim told the officer that while walking from the Glen Park BART station two suspects followed him and approached him from behind. The suspect grabbed him and held an object to his head. The victim thought it was a gun. The suspect demanded the victim to give them everything, and then forcefully took his suit case. The suspects then fled with the property. A witness called and told officers that he observed suspects going through a suitcase and then throw it out of the car they were in. the on call inspector was notified and is handling the case. Officers Park and Chang responded to a violation of a court order call.  The officers spoke with the caller who stated that the suspect who is mentioned in the court order was standing within the limits of the order.  The officers located the suspect in the residence next door and took him into custody. He was transported to Ingleside Station and booked for the offense. Report number 110156488

2:20 pm     Unit blk Phelan           Loaded gun in Vehicle
SFCCPD Officers Edais and Sanchez were on patrol when they observed a vehicle with an equipment violation being driven through a school parking lot and conducted a traffic stop. One of the officers noticed a shotgun in the vehicle and the officers therefore detained the driver. The driver told the officers that the gun was loaded, and the officers found that indeed it was. The officers took the suspect into custody. He was charged with numerous violations pertaining to loaded firearms on school grounds. He was booked at County Jail.  Report number 110156745

Officers Peregoy and Trail were on patrol when they observed two men fighting on the street. The officers were unable to get the men to stop fighting and had to pepper sprayed the combatants. The officers then discovered that the two men were fighting because one of the men is dating the others mother. The subject who started the fight was cited and released and the other was admonished for his actions. Report number 110157129

5:51 pm     Santos/Brookdale     Firearm Possession
Officers Duffin and Hart located a young man who was wanted for running from the officers on 2/20/11 and throwing down a loaded handgun. The suspect tried to run from the officers again, but this time could not escape capture. The suspect fought with officers during the arrest and was eventually taken into custody without injury. The suspect was arrested and booked. Report number 110150985

Officers Tam and Burke responded to a fight call at a residence. The officers found that an argument had spurred the call and that one of the parties had left the scene. The officers recognized one of the subjects still present to have an outstanding warrant for his arrest. The officers took the subject into custody after confirming the validity of the warrant. The subject was arrested and booked at Ingleside Station. Report number 110157715

A school assistant principal reported a vandalism incident to Officers Polovina and McMilton that had occurred over the long weekend.  The vandalism caused no permanent damage to the school as they were able to clean off the front doors.  Report number 110156137

Officers Johnson and Martinez responded to an auto boost call. The officers met with the victims who showed them that their vehicle window had been smashed out and a debit card was stolen from a wallet that was left in the vehicle. Report number 110155725

SFCCPD Officer Ramirez responded to a theft call. The officer met with a blind female victim who stated that her wallet had been stolen from her purse while she was in the disabled students’ tech lab. Report number 110157367

SFCCPD Officer Bermudez met with a student who stated that his locker was broken into at the Wellness Center. The victim reported that his backpack containing his netbook computer, textbooks, and clothing were stolen. Report number 110157743

Officer Leong responded with numerous other Ingleside Station officers to a robbery call.  The victim told the officers that he was walking home carrying his backpack and a laptop style bag when he was approached from behind by an African American male, 17-19 years old, 5’6, 130 lbs, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt.  The suspect brandished a handgun at the victim and demanded his property. The victim gave the suspect his backpack and bag. The victim and his brother chased the suspect several blocks then lost sight of him and called for the police. The area was searched for the suspect to no avail. Report number 110157389

Officer Leong was sent to investigate a threats incident. The victims in the case told the officer that the suspect is involved in criminal activities and they fear that the suspect will carry out a threat he made to them. The suspect told the victims that he believed they would tell the police about his activity. Report number 110157793

Arrests:

1:16 pm     Leland/Alpha              Probation Violation
Officer Ng was on foot patrol on Leland when he observed several subjects that he had prior dealings with. Most of the contacts with the subjects were narcotics related. The officers also had knowledge of one of the subjects having a stay away order as a condition of his Felony Probation. The officer approached the suspect and conducted a computer check the confirmed the order. The suspect was in violation of the order and arrested. The suspect was later booked for the violation. 7:10 pm     Monterey/Detroit        Drunk Driving
Officer Preston was responding to a call for service. Because of the type of call the officer activated his emergency lights. The officer noticed that all but one vehicle yielded and moved out of the way. The officer shone the spot light on the car, but the driver did not move out of the way. The officer ten used the PA and the driver still did not move out of the way. The officer was able to pull up next to the driver and noticed that the driver looked dazed. The officer decided to stop and check to see the status of the driver. The officer stopped the car and made contact with the driver. The officer noticed the signs of intoxication and had the driver submit to a Field Sobriety Test. The driver failed the test, and also failed the breath test. The driver was arrested and booked on suspicion of drunk driving. Report number 110154545

The victim told the officers that he parked and locked his car only to discover that someone had broken a window and taken his property. Officers Ma and Padilla were sent to investigate a vandalism case. The caller told the officers that he observed 4 suspects writing on a wall. The officers searched the area for possible suspects and located four subjects and detain them. Since there was no victim and no one to identify the suspects, they were all identified and sent on their way. The information was sent to the graffiti unit. Report number 110152709

OfficerAnderson was sent to investigate a burglary case. The victim told the officer that she left on vacation and when she returned she discovered that someone had stolen her property. The officer contacted CSI and they will respond to process the scene. Report number 110155032

Officer Morgante prepared a report regarding a fraud incident.  The victim told the officer that he was bilked out of $3264 over the internet. The victim told then officer that he has been unemployed and searching for a job. The victim told the officer that a company offered him a job as a “Secret Shopper”. The victim was sent checks and asked to deposit them into his account and then wire the money back to the company. Needles to say the checks bounced after the victim had wired the money. Officer Lee prepared a report regarding a threat incident. The victim told the officer that a customer threatened her when the victim advised her that she no longer wanted her business. Report number 110153569

Officer Wilson was sent to investigate a robbery that had just occurred. The victim told the officer that a known suspect had taken her phone while on the bus. The victim told the officer that the suspect grabbed her cell phone out her hand and punched her in the face. A witness turned to see what was going on and the suspect attempted to hit her as well. The suspect got off the phone and fled. Report number 110153967

Officers Padilla and Seavey were sent to investigate a robbery case. The victim told the officers that she was walking home when a suspect came up from behind her and grabbed her by the shoulders. The victim told the officers that the suspect demanded her bag, but instead the victim told the suspect that she did not have anything and pulled out a check that was filled out to her name and gave it to the suspect. The suspect took the check and fled. Report number 110154959

Officers Coles and Johnson were sent to investigate an assault incident. The victim told the officers that a known suspect had pushed and struck them and then fled. A witness at the scene told officers that she heard yelling and loud noise and went to investigate. The witness told the officers that she observed the suspect grabbing the victim. The witness told the suspect that she was calling the police. The suspect fled. Officers searched the area and were able to locate the suspect who was identified and arrested. The suspect was booked on assault charges. Report number 110150634

Officers Araujo and Pai were sent to investigate a robbery incident. The victim told the officers that she was walking along when she felt like someone was behind her. The victim turned to look and saw two suspects right behind her. The victim said the when she turned one of the suspect produced a gun. The victim went on to say that she knew what they (suspects) wanted and decided to drop her purse and run. The victim began to yell for help. A witness stopped to help and followed the suspects that were now running away from the scene. Eventually the suspects got away. While the officers were with the victim at the scene officer Najarro was flagged down by the witness. The witness had managed to take a picture of the suspect. The suspects got into a brown Jeep and fled. The information has been passed on to the S.I.T. unit at Ingleside. Report number 110150521

Officers Barajas and Chew were sent to investigate an assault case. The vi9ctim told the officers that a known suspect assaulted him. The victim told the officers that at one point the suspect grabbed a kitchen knife and held it to his neck. The victim said that he ran and was able to get away and call the police. The suspect fled. Officer Campion- Healy was sent to investigate a theft case. The victim told the officer that he parked his car within a gated area and locked it. The victim told the officer that when he returned he discovered that his backpack was missing along with the contents. There was no sign of forced entry to the vehicle. Officer Padilla was sent to investigate a robbery on MUNI. The victim told the officer that he was sitting at the back of the bus when a suspect sat next to him and another behind and demanded his wallet. The victim said “no” to the suspect and was getting up to change seats. The suspect hit the victim on the face twice while removing his wallet. The bus stopped and both suspects got off the bus. Officers Morse and Padilla were sent to investigate a battery incident. The victim told the officers that the known suspect worked for him for over ten years. The victim fired the suspect and today the suspect came wanting to talk to the victim. The suspect became angry and pushed the victim. The suspect then left and broke the victims’ car window. Officer Morgante prepared a report regarding a vandalism case. the victim told the officer that an unknown suspect kicked the side of his truck causing a dent. The victim does have video of the incident. report number 110152890

Officer Toomey responded to investigate a vehicle that had been striped. The victim told the officer that she parked her truck and locked it. When she returned she discovered that someone had stolen her catalytic converter. Report number 110153729

11:16 pm Mission/Richland       Assault
Officers Anderson and Brown were sent to investigate an assault case. The officers learned from witnesses accounts that there was a fight in a bar nearby. The fight started with two brothers, then others joined in. the fight was moved outside. Somewhere along the way one of the men involved was stabbed. The injured victim was located and transported to the hospital with multiple stab wounds. Because of the victim condition officers were not able to interview him. The victim remains in ICU at SF General Hospital. More information will be available once the victim is able to be interviewed. Report number 110152395
