1:16 pm Leland/Alpha Probation Violation
Officer Ng was on foot patrol on Leland when he observed several subjects that he had prior dealings with. Most of the contacts with the subjects were narcotics related. The officers also had knowledge of one of the subjects having a stay away order as a condition of his Felony Probation. The officer approached the suspect and conducted a computer check the confirmed the order. The suspect was in violation of the order and arrested. The suspect was later booked for the violation. 7:10 pm Monterey/Detroit Drunk Driving
Officer Preston was responding to a call for service. Because of the type of call the officer activated his emergency lights. The officer noticed that all but one vehicle yielded and moved out of the way. The officer shone the spot light on the car, but the driver did not move out of the way. The officer ten used the PA and the driver still did not move out of the way. The officer was able to pull up next to the driver and noticed that the driver looked dazed. The officer decided to stop and check to see the status of the driver. The officer stopped the car and made contact with the driver. The officer noticed the signs of intoxication and had the driver submit to a Field Sobriety Test. The driver failed the test, and also failed the breath test. The driver was arrested and booked on suspicion of drunk driving. Report number 110154545

Officers Peregoy, Trail, Obot and Johnson were sent to investigate a theft case. The victim told the officers that he parked and locked his car only to discover that someone had broken a window and taken his property. The victim told the officers that he did not see anyone tale the property. Report number 110154573
3:31 am 30th/Church Vandalism
Officers Ma and Padilla were sent to investigate a vandalism case. The caller told the officers that he observed 4 suspects writing on a wall. The officers searched the area for possible suspects and located four subjects and detain them. Since there was no victim and no one to identify the suspects, they were all identified and sent on their way. The information was sent to the graffiti unit. Report number 110152709
9:30 am Diamond/Gold Mine Burglary
OfficerAnderson was sent to investigate a burglary case. The victim told the officer that she left on vacation and when she returned she discovered that someone had stolen her property. The officer contacted CSI and they will respond to process the scene. Report number 110155032
12:00 pm 100 blk Montcalm Fraud
Officer Morgante prepared a report regarding a fraud incident. The victim told the officer that he was bilked out of $3264 over the internet. The victim told then officer that he has been unemployed and searching for a job. The victim told the officer that a company offered him a job as a “Secret Shopper”. The victim was sent checks and asked to deposit them into his account and then wire the money back to the company. Needles to say the checks bounced after the victim had wired the money. Officer Lee prepared a report regarding a threat incident. The victim told the officer that a customer threatened her when the victim advised her that she no longer wanted her business. Report number 110153569
3:15 pm Mission/Cortland Robbery
Officer Wilson was sent to investigate a robbery that had just occurred. The victim told the officer that a known suspect had taken her phone while on the bus. The victim told the officer that the suspect grabbed her cell phone out her hand and punched her in the face. A witness turned to see what was going on and the suspect attempted to hit her as well. The suspect got off the phone and fled. Report number 110153967
11:45 pm Crescent/Andover Robbery
Officers Padilla and Seavey were sent to investigate a robbery case. The victim told the officers that she was walking home when a suspect came up from behind her and grabbed her by the shoulders. The victim told the officers that the suspect demanded her bag, but instead the victim told the suspect that she did not have anything and pulled out a check that was filled out to her name and gave it to the suspect. The suspect took the check and fled. Report number 110154959
