Ingleside Officers Hopkins and MacKenzie were on routine patrol when they spotted an older Ford Thunderbird with license tags that expired in April. The officers stopped their patrol car and approached the T-Bird which had two occupants, a man and woman. The woman passenger was holding a lighter in her left hand and had a leather pouch with a significant quantity of methamphetamine. Both occupants were cited for possession of narcotics and released at the scene. Report number: 160760437

Serious Incidents:

4:15pm       Persia/Mission                          Robbery
A 14year old student, waiting for the Muni bus, was approached by four other juveniles who demanded his property. The four cornered the victim against a wall, went through his pockets, taking a cell phone and ear phones, before running away. The student, along with his mother, went to Ingleside Station and reported the robbery to Ingleside Officer Henderson. Report number: 160761504

7:00pm       Edinburgh/Russia                   Aggravated Assault
A hit and run accident turned into a much more serious event for one motorist. The victim told Ingleside Officers Labson and Henderson that he was driving northbound on Guttenberg Street when he noticed a gold colored Toyota Camry driving towards him. As the two cars passed, the Camry scraped the side of the victim’s Nissan and kept driving. The victim turned his Nissan around and followed the Toyota for a short distance through several neighborhood streets trying to get the Toyota’s license plate number so he could call police. However, while driving on Edinburgh, near Russia, a passenger in the Toyota leaned out the window with a pistol and fired several shots at the victim. The victim stopped his pursuit and called police. Report number: 160762057
