Serious Incidents:

1:39am       Sunnydale/Santos                             Evading
Ingleside Officers Carew and Jensen spotted an older Audi SUV, with paper plates, double-parked with the engine running in front of an address on the 100 block of Blythedale. It was a vehicle the officers were familiar with having stopped the same vehicle, for several vehicle code violations, two days earlier. At that time the driver, with an extensive criminal history, was given a citation for speeding. On this morning the officers maneuvered their patrol car behind the double parked Audi just as the driver exited a home, jumped into the Audi, and sped away at a high rate of speed. The officers activated their emergency lights and siren but terminated the chase out of concern for public safety as the Audi driver sped through several intersections ignoring stop signs. Report number: 160762643

6:15pm       300 Blk Colon                                  Suspicious Act
A woman, walking her dog, reported a frightening experience to police. Ingleside Officers Wise and Hoge responded to her home where she related that while walking her dog, on Mangels Avenue she noticed a car driving slowly down the street. As the vehicle drove closer to her, the driver called out, “Come here, I got something for you”. While making the statement, the victim told the officers, the driver was holding an object that appeared to be a black handgun.  After seeing the firearm, the woman sprinted home and called police. Report number: 160764514
