Arrests:

2:30am       1800 Blk Alemany                               Warrant
A sharp eyed Ingleside Sgt. Fegan was on patrol when he spotted a suspicious vehicle at a gas station parking lot. The vehicle had no front license plate and there was a sun shade covering the inside of the windshield. Sgt. Fegan found the driver asleep inside the vehicle. Fegan tapped on the window and woke up the occupant. He asked for identification and, at first, the driver didn’t respond. When he did, Fegan discovered the driver was wanted on a felony warrant out of San Mateo County. Inside the car was heroin and cocaine along with a pipe used to smoke the narcotics. The suspect, with the help of Ingleside Officers Ortega and Zasly, was taken to Ingleside Station and booked for the warrant and possession of narcotics. Report number: 160754305

3:35pm       Unit Blk Blythedale                          Warrant
A man who had several previous contacts with police was spotted by Ingleside Officers Barajas and Lustenberger. The officers knew the suspect was wanted on a no bail misdemeanor warrant from an Alameda County court. He was quickly placed in custody and a search of his clothing revealed significant quantities of a prescription narcotic. The suspect was arrested and transported to Ingleside Station of booking. Report number: 160755541

6:00pm       Geneva/Naples                                 Robbery
A woman waiting for the bus and talking on her IPhone was approached by three juveniles, two men and a woman. One of the suspects grabbed the victim’s phone and, along with his partners in crime, fled eastbound on Geneva. A witness, driving by, called police while following the suspects. The suspects ran into the Crocker-Amazon playground, through the parking lot, and onto a pathway leading into McLaren Park. Ingleside Officers Hardy, Archilla, Scott, Quintero, and Sgt. Martin responded. Hardy, Scott, and Martin caught up with the suspects in the park and were questioning them when one of the suspects bolted away with Officers Scott and Hardy in pursuit. Officer Quintero and Sgt. Martin stayed with the two other suspects while the third suspect ran into the nearby neighborhood, but not for long. He was located by Officer Archilla hiding under a car on Dublin Street and arrested. All three suspects were transported to the Juvenile Justice Center for booking. The stolen IPhone was returned to the victim. Report number: 160756191
