12:14pm 3900 Blk Mission Hot Prowl Burglary
The front door knob being turned caught the attention of an
apartment resident while he was inside his bathroom. The resident, hoping whomever
was twisting his door knob would go away, just ignored the noise. But the
intruders didn’t go away. The resident opened the bathroom door slightly and
saw two men, one holding a pistol, in his living room. One of the suspects,
seeing the resident peeking at him from behind the bathroom door, walked toward
him demanding “money, money, money”. The
victim retreated behind the bathroom door and braced it with his body to
prevent the intruders from gaining access. After a few minutes, the resident
opened the door and discovered the suspects had left his apartment. The police
were called and Ingleside Officers Kikuchi and Williams arrived a short time
later. The victim’s wallet was found on a stairway missing hundreds of dollars
in cash. No other valuables were taken by the burglars. Report number:
