Officer Giannini witnessed a vehicle run through a red light at the intersection of Mission & Silver Avenue.  Upon contact of driver he noticed a bottle of alcohol in the rear area of the driver’s seat.  Upon further investigation Officer Giannini believed the driver to be under the influence of alcohol.  The driver was placed under arrest for DUI.  Report number 110187734

11:57 am            100 Block Marietta     Domestic Violence

Officers Fung and Suguitan responded to a call of a fight between a male and a female.  The victim stated that her boyfriend had kicked a juice bottle which struck her in the head.  The boyfriend also pushed her and because she was in fear she called the police.  Officers placed the boyfriend under arrest for a misdemeanor battery.  Report number 110188312

2:51 pm              400 Block Precita      DUI Arrest

Officer Chan was patrolling the area of Precita Park when he affected a traffic stop of a vehicle with expired registration.  He vehicle was observed making unprovoked sudden stops and driving at a slow pace.  Officer Burke was also on scene and when he approached the driver of the vehicle smelled the odor of alcohol.  The driver exited the Jeep with an unsteady gait, was placed in handcuffs and transported to Mission Station for further evaluation.  The driver was unable to respond to basic field sobriety questions and spoke heavily and slowly.  She was placed under arrest for DUI.  Report number 110188679

Officers DeGuzman and Dilag were dispatched to a call of a burglary.  Various vehicles had been damaged in a shared garage of a residence.  All of the victims claimed nothing had been stolen from the vehicles.  A search of the area for any suspects was unsuccessful and there were no video surveillance cameras in the area.  Report number 110187483

Officer Coles took a counter report of a theft at Ingleside Station.  Victim advised that she shares an apartment with various other roommates and this morning after she returned to her unlocked bedroom from the shower noticed various items missing.  There were no witnesses to the incident.  Report number 110188522

Officer Trujillo was dispatched to Park Street regarding a vandalism.  He spoke with victim who stated someone had cut through a cyclone fence but it was unknown if any entry had been made and victim reported nothing missing at the time.  Report number 110190834

Officer Sullivan responded to a call of an auto boost.  Victim said he locked and secured the vehicle the night before and when he returned found damage to the passenger window and various items missing.  There were no witnesses or suspect information available.  Report number 110190787

4:51 am     Paulding/Arago                   Vehicle code Violation

Officer Villaruel was assigned to traffic enforcement. The station has been receiving complaints about different intersections for traffic enforcement. Officer Villaruel was at said intersection and observed a vehicle drive through the posted stop sign at approximately 15 mph. the officer stopped the driver and as soon as he approached the vehicle the driver was belligerent and rude towards the officer. The driver was in violation of not stopping and he did not have his license on his person while operating a vehicle. The officer asked the driver to sign the citation, and the operator changed what the officer had written on his citation. The operator was so angry that after signing the citation he called the officer a “moron”. The officer maintained his calm and issued the citation. The driver was cited for the violations and released. Report number 110186156

Officers Antonian and Dudley were on patrol and heard a call being dispatched of a woman with a gun. They located the woman who they detained and located the handgun close to her on the street.  After further investigation they were able to ascertain that the woman had been arguing with other neighbors regarding children’s toys.  They took the woman into custody and secured the handgun at Ingleside Station.  Report number 110186435

Officers Dilag and DeGuzman responded to a store security alarm activation.  They found the front door of the building had been pried and the inside of the building ransacked.  The officers located the owner of the premises who was able to pull the surveillance video showing the suspect(s) entering the premises.  One of the suspect’s face was clear on the videos and the officers were able to positively identify him as someone they had detained earlier in the evening.  They forwarded all information to Ingleside’s investigation team.  Report number 110184326

Officer McGlaston was dispatched to a classroom where a student’s locked had been broken into and various art supplies taken.  He was unable to locate any signs of forced entry but did notice that hinges on the door had been removed.  No suspect in custody at the time.  Report number 2110313

Officers Park and Chang responded to a call of a burglary.  The victim reported that bicycles had been taken from the garage area of her home.  The officers were unable to locate any sign of forced entry and no surveillance cameras were available.  Report number 110192040

Officer Boyko responded to a call regarding damage to a vehicle.  The victim advised that while driving a bicyclist ran into her vehicle and scratched it.  Suspect information was given but no arrest had been made.  Report number 110185443

Officer Fung was dispatched to a call of theft from his vehicle.  Complainant stated that he was in the process of moving into a home and left his vehicle with the trunk open as he was unloading items.  When complainant returned to his vehicle he noticed items were missing.  Several neighbors were able to speak with Officer Fung and provided information regarding a suspicious vehicle which had been in the area around the time the incident occurred.  Report number 110185744

Officers Pai and Shokair responded to a store regarding an attempted burglary.  They observed a broken front window and a bent door frame.  They interviewed the manager who stated she had locked and secured the area the evening before but had not been advised of the incident until this morning.  It was unclear if any items were missing but appeared that suspect attempted to take money from the cash register.  Report number 110187671

Officers Dilag and DeGuzman were on patrol when they were approached by a gentleman who had a swollen eye and was bleeding from the lips.  Victim stated that someone had assaulted him with a bat.  The victim was unable to give any suspect description and officers were unable to locate any witnesses.  Report number 110187160

Officers Shokair and Dilag responded to a commercial business regarding a burglary.  The owner advised that the front door of the business had been shattered and the business ransacked.  Officers were able to seize a surveillance video and took pictures of the scene which they booked into evidence.  Officers were unable to locate any additional evidence or witnesses.  Report number 110187609

Officer Jones and Khan responded to a call of damage to a vehicle.  They spoke with the victim who told them he returned to his vehicle and found damage to the windshield and left front door.  Officers canvassed the area for any suspects or witnesses to no avail.  Report number 110186974

Officer Lozano was dispatched to a call of a purse snatch.  Victim advised that she was walking on the above street when she noticed a man walking in her direction and another man walking on the opposite side of the street.  Victim stated that one man walked passed her and she was suddenly thrown to the ground.  Victim stated the suspect stole her purse and laptop but she did get a good look at him and could not identify him.  Report number 110187110

3:34 pm     Delano/San Juan       Warrant Arrest

Officers Almaguer and Rueca were sent to investigate a report where there was a possible fight in progress with one of the subjects armed with a brick. When the officers arrived they located the subjects and observed one was holding a large rock. The officers ordered the subject to drop the rock and detained him. The officers conducted a computer check for warrants and discovered that the suspect had a warrant out of Daly City for a suspended license. The suspect was arrested and booked at Ingleside Station. Officers Hom and Seavey were patrolling when they observed a vehicle drive by them with numerous corrective violations. The officers stopped the car and spoke to the driver. The officers asked the driver for identification and after conducting a DMV and warrant check the officers discovered that the driver had an outstanding warrant for domestic violence. The driver was placed under arrest and booked. Report number 090445632

Officers Uang, Hopkins and Trail were sent to investigate a harassing calls incident. The victim told the officers that a known suspect has been calling him at home and work. The suspect has told the victim that he will continue to receive calls until he loses his job. Report number 110183168

Officers Polovina and McMilton were sent to investigate a battery incident. The victim told the officers that a known suspect kicked him then took the victims shoe off and hit him in a private part of the body. The suspect then left. Report number 110181623

Officers Campion-Healy and Frisk were sent to investigate a theft case. The victim told the officers that a care taker was fired by her employer for lining. The victim then told the officers that cash was missing ($100). The victim went on to say that the money came up missing after the suspect was fired. Report number 110181770

SFCCPD Officer Edias responded to Wellness center and spoke to the victim of a theft. The victim told the officer that he placed his clothing and IPhone in a locker and used a combination lock to secure it. The victim told the officer that when he came back later he discovered that the items were missing. The lock was not damaged. Report number 110156745

SFCCPD Officer Edias responded to Wellness center and spoke to the victim of a theft. The victim told the officer that he placed his property in a locker and secured it with a combination lock. When the victim returned he discovered that an unknown suspect had picked the lock and removed $57. Report number 110182671

The victim of a fraud responded to Southern station and reported that she received a text from her credit company alerting her that someone was attempting to make a charge of 100 Euros (€1.40 euro = 71 cents US). The victim knew that this was fraudulent and checked her account on line. The victim discovered that there had been 8 charges on her account totaling €503.16 (roughly $700). The account was closed. The victim of threats came to Ingleside Station to report threats that had been made towards him. The victim told Officer Morgante that the suspect parked in front of his home and was partially in the red area of the sidewalk the leads to the driveway. The victim told the officer that he went out to tell the suspect that he was parked in his driveway and that he could be towed. The suspect threatened him and finally drove off. The victim grabbed a camera and took a picture of the suspect and his car. Report number 110182477

Officer Ocreto was told of a theft incident at a school.  His investigation revealed that a student was responsible for the theft.  This student was interviewed, admitted responsibility, and was cited for the offense.  Report Number 110179195

Officers Almaguer, Chan and Rueca responded to the residence of a person with a warrant for his arrest.  The officers located the man, took him into custody and booked him at Ingleside Station.  Report Number 070652120

Arrests:

12:02 am   3300 blk Mission        Stolen Auto Arrest

Officers Gonzalez and Sgt Lozada were on patrol when they noticed a group of subjects standing by a car. The officers noticed that they were attempting to get into the car with a crowbar. The officers stopped the car and approached the subjects. The group saw the officers and dispersed in all directions. The officers were able to stop the two that were working on gaining entry to the car. on the way back with the subjects ( they were only able to get a few feet Away from the car) the  officers noticed that not only was there a crowbar but also a wire hanger stuck in the car through the window. The officers ran a DMV check on the car and discovered that it had been reported stolen on Feb 24. The suspects told police that they were just trying to get into the car; little did they know that the parking lot there has video surveillance. The video shows the two suspects getting out of the car and locking themselves out! Needless to say both suspects were arrested and booked. Two more car thieves go to jail. Officers Morrow was at the Ingleside Station when he was approached by a witness who had just seen a suspect break into a car trunk and removed several items. The witness told the officer that the suspect was walking down towards San Jose Av. The witness told the officer that the car was parked in the back parking lot near the Police station. The officer jumped into the patrol car and caught up to the suspect that was pushing a stroller with the stolen merchandise.  The suspect was apprehended with the stolen property from the car. The owner of the car was present but did not see the theft and was able to identify the property. The suspect was placed under arrest and booked at the station. The suspect was charged with possession of stolen property and since he had drugs on him too, he was charged with that. I guess the suspect did not know that the police station was there. Officers Gonzalez and Archilla were patrolling when they noticed a vehicle that had a broken tail lamp. The officers stopped the car to issue a citation to the driver. The officers discovered that the passenger in the car had an outstanding NO BAIL warrant. The driver was cited for the light and the passenger was arrested for the warrant. Sgt Miller was sent to investigate a burglary that had just been called in by the homeowner. The victim told the officer that she left home and locked all the doors. The victim told the officer that she had a new alarm system and that a known suspect may be the one to blame for the break in.  The officer found a plethora of physical evidence and contacted CSI. The scene will be processed at a later time. Report number 110176345

Police Services Aide Cato prepared a report regarding threats. The victim told the PSA that a known suspect has been threatening her for some time and she wanted to document this event today. Report number 110176878

12:30 pm 3900 blk Mission                 Fraud

Officers Chang and Park were sent to investigate a fraud case. the victim told the officers that she received a call from her daughter asking for $3000. The victim told her daughter that she did not have that kind of money and then overheard her daughter talking to someone. The victim left work and got home quickly. The victim learned that her daughter was on her way home from ate market when she was approached by a Hispanic male and female suspect. The two told second victim that they had won the Lotto and because they did not have any ID if she could cash the prize for them. But the victim had to give them a "Good Faith" cash retainer $3000.  The second victim agreed and took the suspects to her home. When the suspects discovered that there was no cash they made off with property. Report number 110176191

10:18 am   Mission/Excelsior      Controlled Substance

Officers Bernard and Johnson were on patrol when they observed a car driven by them with tinted windows in violation with Ca vehicle code section 26708.8.5. The officers stopped the car and made contact with the driver. The officers asked the driver for his paperwork. When the driver opened the glove box the officers saw a prescription bottle filled with white pills and no prescription label. The officers asked the driver if the pills were his, and if so, did he have a prescription. The driver responded that they were indeed his, and that he got them because he was in a car accident and his doctor prescribed them. The driver then called his doctor to verify. After speaking to a nurse the officers were informed that indeed the driver had been prescribed the pills, and how many pills, 30. The officers could see that there were more than the 30 pills prescribed. In fact there were 80 pills! This is in violation of the CA Health and Safety code. The driver was placed under arrest and booked at Ingleside Station for the tinted windows and the pills. Report number 110172804

Officer Ng was sent to investigate a fraud case. The victims told the officers that they have been receiving harassing phone calls from a suspect that is trying to pull a scam. The victims told the officer that the suspect continues to call and telling them they have won a prize and that the only way to collect is to send the tax money ($50,000). The victim told the suspect he knew this was a scam and to stop trying to change his voice because the victim recognized him. The victim told the suspect that he had contacted the FEDS. The suspect became angry and told the victim that he was armed with an AK. The suspect hung up.  Report number 110173824

Officers Lozano and Morse were sent to investigate a burglary. The victim told the officers that he had left his rent money in his bedroom. The victim also mentioned that he leaves his bedroom door unlocked, but closed. The rear door of the house is always kept unlocked. The victim told the officer that an ex-girlfriend is the only one that knows this information and may be bitter because he broke up with her. Report number 110174703

Police Services Aide Cato prepared a robbery report. The victim came to Ingleside station to report a robbery that occurred to him. The victim told the PSA that he was on his walking along when he noticed a blk SUV and two suspects step out as he was walking by it. The suspects told the victim that it was a robbery and to not be stupid. The suspects took the victim’s wallet and told him that they knew where he lived. The suspects got back into the SUV and fled the area. Report number 110174333 

8:22 am     5400 blk Mission        Vandalism

Officers Pai was sent to investigate a reported vandalism incident. The victim told the officer that the suspect came into his restaurant and after he was done walked up to the victim and told him that someone had stolen a bag and food from him. The suspect did not realize that there is surveillance equipment in the restaurant. The suspect became enraged when the victim told him that he did not see any of the allegations made by the suspect take place. The suspect threw displays to the ground and took 24 chocolate chip cookies. The damage to the property was close to $1000. Report number 110172440

Officer Thompson was sent to investigate a suspicious person at a bank. The officer arrived and located the subject. The officer followed the subject from the parking lot to the bank and out to the street. The officer stopped the subject and asked him what his business was with the bank. The suspect told the officer that he was there to open a savings account. The officer asked the subject for identification, the suspect had none. The officer asked to see the cash that the subject was going to deposit into the savings account. The subject had none. The suspect then told the officer that he asked about opening an account and when the bank manager became nervous about the subject having sunglasses and a hooded sweat top on in the bank and refused to provide service. The suspect told the officer that it was when he yelled at the manager and asked if was illegal for him to wear these items in the bank.  Report number 110173755

Officers Padilla and Seavey were sent to investigate a vandalism incident. The victim told the officers that she parked her car last night with no damage. Today she discovered that an unknown suspect had damaged he car. No suspects were observed in this incident. Report number 110174656

Sgt Miller received a call regarding a burglary. The Sgt spoke to the victim who said that an unknown suspect had broken in over the weekend. There was no loss, therefore CSI was not notified. There was a faint foot print. Entry was made via an open window. Report number 110172707

Police Services Aide Cato prepared a report regarding harassing phone calls. The victim told the PSA that she received a call where the suspect made nasty remarks and then hung up. The victim told the PSA that this was the first and only such call. no suspect information. Report number 110174236

SFCCPD officer Bermudez was sent to investigate a battery report. the victim told the officer that she was doing her work in a room that she reserved and the  suspect came in and threatened her. The victim left and the witness approached the suspect. the suspect became combative and threatened to hit the victim. The suspect did indeed hit the victim. Report number 110163825

Sgt Lozada and Officer Archilla observed a woman operating a vehicle while talking on her cell phone.  The officers conducted a traffic stop and contacted the driver and passenger in the vehicle.  The officers found that the vehicle registration was expired.  A records check of the driver revealed that she had a suspended license and a warrant for her arrest. She was taken into custody.  The passenger was also found to have a warrant for his arrest and a stay away order restraining him from contacting the driver.  He was taken into custody.  They were both taken to Ingleside Station and booked.  Report number 110171555

A woman reported to Officer Preston that while she was not home overnight, her roommate had an overnight guest.  When the victim returned home she found that her laptop computer had been stolen from the common area of the apartment.  The victim contacted the suspect who denied any knowledge of the whereabouts of the computer.  Report number 110170529

09:23 pm       5400 blk Cortland               Theft from Building

Officers Benevidez and Gomez responded to a fast food restaurant regarding a theft.  The victim met with the officers and told them that he left his laptop computer on the table while he refilled his soda.  Upon his return he found his computer had been stolen.  Surveillance camera footage showed that two men who had been seated two tables from the victim stole the computer and walked out of the restaurant.  Report number 110171743

10:22 pm       1500 blk Alabama               Attempted Homicide w/ Gun

Numerous Ingleside Station officers responded to a shooting call.  The first arriving officers found the victim seated in his vehicle suffering from gunshot wounds.    Witnesses stated that several vehicles were seen in the area at the time of the shooting.  The victim was taken to SFGH with life-threatening injuries.
