Arrests:

8:37 am     Mission/Cortland       Stolen Auto Arrest
Officer Lim was on patrol when he heard Lt Vintero on the radio asking for assistance on a vehicle stop. Lt Vintero was patrolling when he noticed a car that had no front plates. The Lt decided to stop and cite the driver of the car. As the Lt got behind the Toyota he noticed that where the month tab is supposed to be that there was the word "APR" written in blue ink. The Lt also found out that the registration came back to a Honda! The Lt stopped the car and asked for another unit. Once the car was stopped the Lt discovered that the car had been reported stolen. The driver was driving with a suspended license in car that had the tabs drawn in and stolen! The driver was arrested and transported to Ingleside Station. The suspect was being booked in at the station and was found to have prescription medication that was not hers. The suspect was ultimately booked on 4 Felony counts. Report number 110229869. 7:05 pm     400 blk Prentiss         Assault/Mayhem Arrest
Officers Leong and Castillo were sent to investigate a fight call that was in progress. Numerous Ingleside units responded as backup. Officer Chang was the first one to arrive. The officer located the victim and immediately saw that the victim was bleeding profusely from the face. As the officer was calling for an ambulance he noticed a subject that closely matched the description of the suspect. This was confirmed when one of the witnesses yelled out to the officer that, that was the suspect. The officer went over and attempted to grab the suspect, who immediately took a defensive posture and swung at the officer. The suspect began flailing his arms around causing him to lose his balance and fall. Officers Castillo, Fung and Sugitan went to assist officer with the fighting suspect. They were able to bring to the ground and, after a struggle that required the officers to deploy their pepper spray and douse the suspect. The suspect stopped fighting and was cuffed! The victim was in serious condition and needed to get to the hospital as soon as possible. The victim was transported to SF General Hospital where he was being treated for his injuries. The victim may lose the use of his right eye. There is no further information on the victim’s condition. The suspect was cleared medically at the hospital and booked on multiple Felony charges. 9:45 am     Crocker Park              Aggravated Assault
Officer Giannini was sent to investigate an assault case. the officer met with a referee of a soccer match. The victim told the officer that he was refereeing a game and called a foul against a player. The victim told the officer that the player was so angry at the call that he performed a martial arts kick to his face. The victim was knocked out for about 3 seconds. The suspect fled when he saw the victim go down and not get up right away. The suspect did not pick up his id card that he left at the registration desk. That ID card is now booked as evidence.  The victim was transported to SF General Hospital for medical clearance. Report number 110230054

12:00 pm 600 blk Edna               Fraud
Police Services Aide Cato prepared a report regarding a fraud incident. The victim told the PSA that while checking his account on-line he discovered a $400 transaction that was not authorized. Report number 110230678

3:00 pm     300 blk Alemany        Theft from Auto
 Police Services Aide Cato prepared a report regarding a theft incident. The victim told the PSA that she parked and locked her car only to discover that someone had broken in and taken her property. There were no suspects observed. Report number 110231187

3:15 pm     Loehr/Sunnydale       Dog Bite
Officers Deguzman and Altamirano were sent to investigate a dog bite incident. The victim told the officers that she was walking along when the suspect dog jumped up and bit her through her pants. The owner of the dog pulled the dog off and crossed the street and locked themselves in a home. The victim rang the doorbell to no avail. The suspect would not open the door. The victim was treated at the scene for a small puncture wound. Report number 110230747

5:20 pm     Campbell/Rutland      Threats
Officers Apodaca and Gabriel responded on a threats call. The victim told the officers that a passing motorist threatened to kill her dog with a poisoned hamburger. The victim told the officers that she could identify the suspect, but did not recognize the suspect. Report number 110231046

10:30 pm 700 blk Athens           Theft from Auto
Officer Lee prepared a report regarding a theft from an auto incident. The victim told the officer that he parked his truck on the street and that he was gone for about 45 minutes. When he returned he noticed that the motorcycle that was in the back was now missing. report number 110230167

11:30 pm Mission /Silver            Robbery
Officer Hermosura was sent to investigate a fight on a MUNI bus. When the officers arrived they discovered that the fight was regarding a robbery. The victim told the officer that while on the bus a suspect approached him and claimed "Gang" territory and demanded money. the suspect reached and grabbed the victims watch and this is when there was a slight altercation. The suspect was aided by two other suspects that jumped in and beat the victim. the suspect fled. Report number 110231858
