Arrests:

10:44 am   100 Hahn                     Drug Arrest
Officers Peregoy, Uang and Hopkins were on their way to enforce a probation search. The officers knocked at the door and were met by the suspect in probation. The officers advised the suspect that they were there to conduct a search.   The suspect let the officers’ in. once inside the officers observed a male suspect run to the kitchen and scrambling to hide something. The officers stopped the male suspect and conducted a search. Officer Hopkins noticed that the suspect had a clinched fist and would not open his hand. Immediately the suspect turned and made a run towards the front door. Report number 110218179

3:20 pm      Mission /Onondaga   Robbery Arrest
Officers Marino and Aslam were sent to investigate a robbery. The officers spoke to the victim who told them that, two days ago, he had walked out from buying food and was confronted by two suspects. The main suspect asked the victim for a dollar, at which the victim told him he did not have. The victim showed the suspect that he had no cash just a cell phone. At that moment the suspect snatched the cell phone from the victims hand and put it in his pocket. The victim told the officers that the suspect walked away with the phone. The victim also told the officers that he could recognize the suspect and did so via a photo. Sgt O’Brien was notified of the robbery. The officers and Sgt O’Brien responded to the location where the suspects were known to be at and found both suspects. Both suspects were placed under arrest and booked for the robbery. Sgt O'Brien clears yet another robbery. Report number 110217927

5:30 pm     Portola/Teresita                   Warrant Arrest
Officer McCarthy observed a suspect that was yelling at people and obscenities at passersby. The officer made contact with the suspect and was met with obscenities. The suspect made aggressive movements towards the officer and was immediately cuffed. The officer could smell that the suspect had been drinking and was intoxicated. The officer conducted a warrant check and discovered that the suspect had $1500 in outstanding warrants. The suspect was arrested and booked. Report number 11021975
9:50 pm     1400 Alemany             Warrant Arrest
Officers Benavidez and Morse were patrolling when they noticed a car driving with a broken headlight. The officers stopped the car to issue the driver a fix-it ticket. When the officers conducted a computer check they discovered the driver had two outstanding drug warrants out of Redwood City. The driver was arrested and booked at Ingleside Station. 10:19 pm Brazil/La Grande        Stolen Auto Arrest
Officers Gonzalez and Pereira were responding to a fight progress. Along the way the officers noticed a vehicle that nearly hit pedestrians that were crossing the street. The officers turned to stop the vehicle only to see the vehicle accelerate away from them. The vehicle stopped abruptly and the driver got out of the car, looked at the officers and began running away from them. Two blocks later the suspect was caught and handcuffed. The officers discovered that the car had been reported stolen. The suspect was arrested and booked at Ingleside Station. Report number 11220522. This is "The Best Arrest of the Day"

11:08 pm 4700 blk Mission        Aggravated Assault
Officers Archilla and Antonian were on patrol when they were flagged down by an off duty officer who informed them that she had just witnessed an assault and that the suspect was walking away from them. The witness pointed at the suspect. the officers caught up with the suspect and detained him. The officers then located the victim that was unconscious. The witness told the officers that she observed the victim and suspect talking, and then the suspect began punching the victim in the face till he fell. The suspect then continued the attack on the victim. The witness came outside and yelled at the suspect to stop. The suspect grabbed the victim by the hair and kicked the victim in the head three times and the walk away. The suspect was arrested and booked at Ingleside Station. 7:50 am     Unit blk Tioga             Burglary
Officers Muro and Pai were sent to investigate a burglary. The officers arrived and the first thing they noticed was a crowbar sitting in a pathway. The officers also noticed the back door was kicked in. the officers spoke to a witness who said he heard loud noise from the backyards, but did not see anything. The witness told the officers that he saw a couple of subjects that look suspicious next door. The witness told the officers that he only saw the suspects there for a few minutes, and then disappeared when the witness came outside. The victim was unable to determine the loss. CSI was notified and will respond. Report number 110218072

8:45 am     200 blk Naglee           Burglary
Officers Pedersen and Ma were sent to investigate a burglary call. The victims told the officers that they left their home in the morning only to discover that someone had gained entry to the home. The officers conducted their preliminary investigation and did not find any forced entry or damage. The officers were not able to find any physical evidence, therefore CSI was not contacted. SFCCPD officer McGlaston prepared a report regarding a theft incident. The victim told the officer that she parked and locked her car in one of the lots on campus. The victim told the officer that she left her purse on the front seat of her car. To the victims surprise when she returned she saw that her passenger window was broken and her purse and GPS were missing. The victim called her bank to cancel the credit cards, but was informed that the cards had already been used. Report number 1102184598

SFCCPD officers Chang and Boyko were sent to investigate a vandalism case. The victim told the officers that she parked and locked her car without damage. When she returned she discovered someone had scratched her car from the front bumper to driver side door. Report number 110215216

10:00 am   300 blk Arleta             Battery
Officer Coles was sent to investigate a battery case. The victim told the officer that a known suspect got into an argument over money. The suspect punched the victim on the face and yelled obscenities. The victim was able to leave. The victim told the officers that on the way out they were able to grab the suspect’s cell phone. The victim told the officer that once outside the suspect realized that the victim had the phone he came out and continued to punch the victim all over the body and face. The suspect then fled. The victim responded to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. report number 110218743

Officers Padilla and Sullivan were dispatched to investigate a robbery incident. The officers spoke to the victim that told them she was at a store in the area. Whine the victim came out of the store a lone suspect walked up behind her and put a black semi-automatic handgun to her head and demanded money. The suspect fled. The victim was not injured and told the officers that she could recognize the suspect if she sees him again. Report number 110218486

12:15 pm Allison/Cross              Hot Prowl Burglary
Officers Sullivan and Padilla were sent to investigate a burglary incident. The victim informed the officers that she locked and secured her home when she left in the morning. When the victim returned she discovered the security gate had been damaged but nothing inside was disturbed. The officers also spoke to another resident and discovered that the suspect had gained entry, but when he realized that someone was inside he fled.  Report number 110219008

1:56 pm     100 blk Blythdale       Assault/Gun
Officers Peregoy, Hopkins and Uang were responding to a shots fired call. The victim told the officers that he was waiting outside for a friend, when a truck drove up and a suspect got out and shot "a lot" the suspect got back into the truck and fled. The victim ran to an open unit and asked for someone to call 911. The victim was transported to SF General Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.  At the scene the officers recovered 5 bullet casings and booked them as evidence. Report number 110215896

Officers Padilla and Sullivan were sent to investigate a theft case. The victim told the officers that he was in his store with a customer and went to the back area for a moment. The victim told the officers that the time it took him to get back to the front an unknown suspect had removed the cash from the register. Report number 110219155

Police Services Aide Flynn prepared a report regarding a vandalism incident. The victim responded to Ingleside and told the PSA that he parked his car yesterday without any damage. Today he discovered that someone had scratched the entire passenger side and stolen the side mirrors. The victim told the PSA that he did not observe any suspects. Report number 111219149

Police Services Aide Flynn prepared a report regarding a theft case. The victim told the PSA that she parked her car and locked it only to discover that someone had broken in and stolen her GPS that she left in the car. Report number 110219149
