Arrests:6:09am 30th & Mission Aggravated AssaultIngleside Officers Anton-Buzzard, Bailey and close to a dozen other officers were dispatched to a report of “shots fired” near the intersection of Eugenia and Mission. When they arrived on scene witnesses said the shots were fired from a black Chevy that sped away. A short time later the officers were directed to St. Luke’s Hospital where a gunshot victim was being treated for a head wound. The victim was a passenger in a Volkswagen. Another passenger and the driver were unharmed and at the hospital. Additional interviews with witnesses revealed that the Volkswagen occupants also fired a weapon during the confrontation with occupants in the Chevy. They were arrested and charged with attempted murder, aggravated assault, and negligent use of a firearm. Report number: 17088484510:48pm Mission & Appleton FirearmA report of an erratic driver prompted dispatch to send Ingleside Officers Zhao, Ferronato, and Fogarty to investigate. They located the vehicle just in time to see the driver blow through a stop sign at Randall and Mission. The officers stopped the vehicle and interviewed the occupants. One of the occupants had red, bloodshot eyes. Another had been previously arrested on narcotics charges. The officers searched the car and found a significant amount of marijuana in containers. In the trunk was more marijuana along with a concealed firearm. All three occupants were taken to the county jail and booked for possession of marijuana for sale along with possession of a firearm in a vehicle. Report number: 170885401Serious Incidents:4:21am Unit Blk. Molimo FireIngleside Officers McCall, Lozano, Zhao, Fogarty, Cassinelli, Govindbhai, and Sgt. Turner were sent to the scene of a house fire. When they arrived San Francisco Fire units were battling a fully involved blaze at a home. Residents of the home had evacuated and neighbors nearby had also exited their homes. One resident was taken to the hospital for treatment of his injuries and another deceased resident was removed by fire crews. The San Francisco Fire Department Arson Squad has taken over the investigation. Report number: 1708832739:20am 4500 Blk. Mission RobberyA store customer walked into a store, picked up some shoes, and started walking out. The clerk told Ingleside Officer Zandandel, the suspect threatened her when she asked him to pay for the shoes. But he wouldn’t and walked out of the store and then south on Mission Street. Report number: 17088399410:29pm 1600 Blk. Sunnydale FirearmIngleside Officers Cassinelli and Trumpp were dispatched after a report of “shots fired” in the neighborhood. The report pinpointed a basketball court as the source of the sounds. The officers didn’t find suspects or victims, but they did recover one expelled casing on the basketball court.
