Arrests:

Ingleside Officer Fitzpatrick and Sgt. Kumli were on routine patrol when they spotted a recreational vehicle illegally parked blocking the slow lane of Mission Street. The officers stopped their patrol car and knocked on the door to tell the occupants to move the vehicle out of the lane. The officers found the occupants didn’t own the vehicle and one of them worked at a nearby location that has a long record of arrests for illegal drug use. The occupants stepped out and gave the officers permission to search the RV. Inside they found a large quantity of methamphetamine along with paraphernalia used to smoke the substance. They also found a scale used to package and sell narcotics. The woman suspect also had a large amount of cash along with several marijuana cigarettes. She was arrested and charged with possession and transporting narcotics for sale. The other occupant was cited for possession and released. Report number: 170842978

Ingleside Officers Smith, Mendiola, Mora, Dungca, Tiffer, Leung, Tom, and Glover were dispatched to a report of a robbery at the Safeway Store. The officers talked to store personnel who told them that the suspect, who had robbed the store before, entered and took several bottles of shampoo and lotion placing them in his backpack. When confronted by store personnel, he assaulted one them, and then ran away. The officers broadcast a description of the suspect and Ingleside Officers Tiffer and Dungca spotted him at Ocean and Phelan Streets. The suspect saw the officers and fled toward City College. Ingleside Officers Mora and Fitzpatrick, hearing the call for assistance, spotted and arrested the suspect in a parking lot next to Howth and Ocean Avenue. He was placed in custody and complained of shortness of breath. He was transported to San Francisco General Hospital for treatment before being booked for robbery. Report number: 170843982

9:29pm       5100 Blk. Mission                            Resisting
A fight inside a pool hall prompted dispatch to send Ingleside Officers Cortez and Hackard to investigate. When the officers arrived they found the doors to the pool hall locked and witnesses outside pointing to a man walking away north on Mission Street. Officers Hackard ordered the man to stop but, instead of stopping, he continued running north on Mission across Geneva with Officer Hackard in pursuit. Hackard & Cortez notified dispatch they were in foot pursuit of a suspect. Hackard and Cortez finally caught the suspect at London and Geneva. The suspect ignored several commands to get on the ground and place his hands where the officers could see them. Finally, with the help of Ingleside Officer Marshall, he was placed in handcuffs. The officers noted he had a laceration to his lip. He was cited at the scene for resisting arrest and other crimes then transported to St. Luke’s Hospital for treatment. Report number: 170844504
