Arrests:12:20pm Cortland & Nevada Stolen VehicleIngleside Officers Peralta and Alexander were on routine patrol when they spotted an older stolen Acura traveling westbound on Cortland Street. The officers radioed for backup and continued following the Acura until, with help from additional Ingleside units, it was stopped at Bayshore and Flower Street. The woman driver was placed in custody. Inside the car was narcotics paraphernalia along with a bag containing property stolen two days earlier from a ward at San Francisco General Hospital. The officers also found a shaved key used to break into the Acura and start the ignition. A computer check revealed the suspect was had six arrest warrants for theft totaling close to $100,000. Report number: 1708401549:48pm 50 Phelan St. NarcoticsCommunity College Police Officers Flood and Wong responded to a report of a man and woman inside a women’s restroom in the Visual Arts Building. The officers found the pair in a stall and placed them in custody. The male suspect had glass pipes and a quantity of methamphetamine in one of his pockets. He also was on probation. He was arrested for possession of narcotics paraphernalia and transported to the County Jail. His female companion was released at the scene. Blythdale HomicideA report of “shot’s fired” prompted dispatch to send several Ingleside units to the 200 block of Blythdale were a man was found in the street suffering from several wounds. Evidence was found in the area and seized. The officers interviewed several witnesses and turned over their information to the Homicide unit. The case is under investigation and is on-going.
