The next Ingleside Community meeting will be held at the Miraloma Club House located at 350 O’Shaughnessy Blvd on Tuesday, September 19, 2017 at 7 p.m. There will be light refreshments available to those who come to the meeting. All are welcome to attend.

A man driving down San Bruno Avenue noticed a small fire burning near a metal gate. He stopped his car and quickly extinguished the fire with his feet and dragged the burning grass away from the gate. He told Ingleside Officers Leong, Grabbe, Vong, Camarra, and Sgt. Kumli that after extinguishing the blaze, an unknown man, shirtless, and wearing blue shorts, walked up and said, “That is not wrong”, pointing to the fire, and attempted to punch the victim. The suspect also said, “I’m going to knock you out”. The suspect then walked away on San Bruno toward Industrial where the officers found him a short time later. The victim signed a citizen’s arrest form and the suspect was cited for assault and released at the scene. Report number: 170733872

A woman walked into Ingleside Station to report a theft, a theft born possibly from distraction. She told Police Services Aid Bautista that she finished shopping at the Safeway Store on Monterey Blvd. and walked outside with her groceries on her shopping cart along with her personal bag. She placed the groceries in the trunk of her car, returned the cart, and drove home where she discovered that her personal bag was missing. She went back to the store and couldn’t find her bag. Inside was her cellphone, $250 in cash, wallet, driver’s license, Social Security Card, five membership cards, vehicle insurance card, two credit cards, medical docu[HAN1] ments, and other miscellaneous items.
