Arrests:

9:57pm       Ocean/Cayuga                        D.U.I
A white Toyota Tacoma pickup truck caught the attention of Ingleside Officers Zhao and Fogarty when the driver, turned on his right turn signal and made a right turn at Ocean and Cayuga without stopping. The driver then suspiciously kept driving east on Ocean at a slow speed still with his right turn signal on. At Alemany, he made a left turn onto Alemany, again, with his right turn signal on. The officers stopped the driver on Alemany and quickly noticed that he had the strong odor of alcohol on his breath, had bloodshot eyes, and his speech was slurred. He told the officers he was returning from his niece’s wedding and had consumed “a lot of alcohol”. He severely failed a roadside sobriety test. He consented to a blood alcohol test which was performed at Mission Station. A computer check revealed he was driving with a suspended license. The suspect was transported to Ingleside Station where he was booked for DUI. Report number: 170732539

Serious Incidents:

7:55am       Mission/Amazon                   Aggravated Assault
A woman, standing on the sidewalk, handing out religious pamphlets noticed an unknown suspect walking towards her screaming and yelling, and carrying a wine bottle. When the suspect got nearer the victim, he threw the wine bottle on the sidewalk, which shattered, and a piece of glass struck the victim in her lower leg. She told Officers Elliston, Rodriquez, and Lim that the suspect then laughed at her and walked away southbound on Mission. The officers summoned medical help and the victim was treated at the scene for a laceration. Report number: sa170729928
