Arrests:
8:42am Putnam St/Crescent Ave Warrant
A man
asleep in a lawn chair on San Francisco Water Department property caught the
attention of Ingleside officers Curry and Campos. The area has received dozens
of homeowner complaints regarding trespassing, homeless encampments, and
garbage. The City has posted signs in the area warning trespassers they could
be arrested. Curry and Campos ran a computer check of the sleepy trespasser
that showed an active warrant for his arrest. He was also on active probation.
The officers took the man into custody and transported him to Ingleside Station
for booking. Report number: 170571246
Serious Incidents:
12:00noon 500 blk Moscow Hot Prowl Burglary
A report of a burglary sent Ingleside officers Wise and Hoge
to investigate. When the officers arrived they found the home’s front gate
forced open and the front door also open with fresh pry marks. Inside the
residents told the officers that electronic items, family documents, and
identity and medical cards were missing. Several residents were home at the
time of the incident but were asleep during the break in. Wise and Hoge
notified Crime Scene Investigation of the crime. Report number: 170573270
4:39pm Persia Ave/Madrid St Robbery
A teenager, on his way to a pickup basketball game at the
Excelsior Playground, was robbed of his property by two other young men. The
victim told Ingleside officers Suguitan and Hornstein the two robbers
approached him and asked to use his cell phone. The victim told the officers
that he knew he was going to be robbed so he handed over his cell phone. One of
the two robbers then showed a knife to the victim and asked for his backpack.
The victim surrendered his backpack and the suspects fled north on Madrid and
then east on Persia. Report number: 170572250
