Officer Garza responded to assist officers Quinlan, Siracusa,
Hoge, and Labson in a report of a burglary.
Dispatch advised the officers that two suspects had broken into a
building and stolen several martial arts weapons, such as swords and
canes. Officers Quinlan and Siracusa had
detained a suspect, but the second suspect was still at large. The suspect detained was found standing
nearby the broken window of the business. A witness identified this suspect as
the person who had entered the business and stolen the weapons. The suspect was also in possession of a
shopping cart that had her personal belongings and several of the stolen
items. A records check of the suspect
also revealed that she had a warrant.
The suspect was booked on the warrant and burglary charges. Report 170568083
