The next Ingleside Community meeting will be held in the Ingleside Police Station Community room on Tuesday, February 21, 2017 at 7p.m.  There will be light refreshments available to those who come to the meeting.  All are welcome to attend.

Arrests:


11:27am     200 Blk. Juanita                 Warrants & Resisting
Ingleside Officers Paras and Laokwansathitaya were on patrol and assigned to look for a wanted juvenile suspect in the company of three other young men. The officers spotted the youths in an alley on the 200 block of Juanita. The suspect and his three companions were smoking marijuana when they noticed the police officers driving by. The four took off running with Paras and Laokwansathitaya in pursuit. Two of the young men were detained a short distance away and the fourth, who was wanted, was apprehended near the intersection of Santa Clara and San Anselmo Streets. The third suspect escaped. Two suspects were booked for narcotics possession and warrants at the Juvenile Justice Center. The other suspect in custody was cited and released. Report number: 170104217


4:50pm       Mission & Persia                 Theft
A man flagged down Ingleside Sgt. Ly telling the sergeant that he was on his way to Ingleside Station to report a theft. The victim said his wife called him from where she works on Mission Street to report a theft of her IPhone 7s. She described the thief and her husband decided to go look for the thief on his own. He found the suspect on Mission Street and stopped his car and confronted the suspect who dropped his backpack and ran away. Inside was a book binder with the name of the suspect. He then started to drive to Ingleside Station to report the theft when he spotted Sgt. Ly. The victim’s husband got into Sgt. Ly’s car and began searching for the suspect who they found at a bus stop at Mission and Silver. He was taken into custody and transported to the Juvenile Justice Center. The stolen phone returned to its owner. Report number: 170105196
