& Edna Marijuana for Sale
A stormy night and a parked car with a window down and the
pungent smell of marijuana was enough of an equation to prompt Ingleside Sgt.
Kumli and Officer Boivie to stop their patrol car and investigate. The two male
occupants were cooperative with the officers including one of whom who had a
criminal history of illegal possession of firearms as well as being on
probation for possession of marijuana. The other occupant was familiar to Sgt.
Kumli who had previously arrested him for possession of marijuana and large
amounts of currency related to sales. The officers searched the car and found
several bags of marijuana packaged for sale along with close to $2000 in
various denominations. The suspects were arrested and taken to Ingleside
Station charged with possession of marijuana for sale along with illegal
