CRIME ALERT: Increase in recent trend of robberies and thefts in and around the Balboa BART Station and City College area,
Be vigilant of suspicious vehicles pulling up and its occupants asking for directions and/or to use your phone and then fleeing the scene with your property.

Arrests:

2:52 P.M.     200 Blk Silver                       Drug Offense  

Officers Archilla and Yuen, along with other Ingleside Units, went to the 200 block of Silver Avenue to conduct a probation search on a residence. During the search, the officers discovered methamphetamine in the resident’s pants pocket and placed him under arrest. The officers, while at the residence, encountered a woman (a guest) who was also on parole. She was also arrested for possession of a methamphetamine found in her purse. Report Number 130094636

6:13 P.M.      Unit Blk Santos                    Drug Offense

Officer Burke and several Ingleside officers were sent to the Unit block  of Santos Street to search for a parolee with a warrantless search condition. While questioning the parolee, who was not wanted for any crimes, the officers also came in contact with a woman who had an outstanding warrant for her arrest. The officers conducted a search of the home discovered a credit card embossing machine, credit card readers, and several blank credit cards along with a supply of methamphetamine. The woman with an outstanding warrant, admitted she paid $800 for the counterfeiting equipment so that “she could feed her kids”. She was transported to Ingleside Station and booked for several crimes. Report Number 130095418
