2:40 A.M. Diamond Heights Discharge of Firearms
Officer Hauscarriague and Pederson were assisting other Ingleside officers investigating a stolen vehicle on Diamond Heights when they heard several gunshots in the area. Immediately after hearing the gunshots, the officers observed a gold SUV driving recklessly, on the wrong side of the street, down Diamond Heights. The officers jumped into their patrol vehicle, followed the SUV, pulling it over a several blocks later on Chenery. With additional officers on scene, three individuals were pulled from the vehicle and handcuffed. A thorough search of the SUV discovered two hidden handguns and spent ammunition. All three occupants were arrested for several crimes. Because of the attention to detail and fast acting officers a gun and ammo was recovered. 5:45 P.M. Unit Blk Santos Parole Violation
Officer Campos and two state parole agents were driving on Santos Street when they observed an active parolee walking down the sidewalk. The parolee, a member of a notorious local gang, is prohibited from being in the area. the officers stopped and detained the suspect. The parolee admitted he shouldn’t be in the neighborhood and was arrested for violation of his parole. Report number 130092367
Serious Incidents:
9:40P.M. Sunnydale/Persia Robbery
Officers Chan and Apodaca were on active patrol when they were dispatched to a report of a robbery at Sunnydale and Persia. Joining other officers who also responded to the call, Officers Chan and Apodaca interviewed two men who said, while they were walking down the street, two suspects ran up behind them and pressed a gun to one of the victim’s neck and asked for money. While complying with the suspect’s demands, both victims were punched and kicked several times. The suspects escaped with the one victim’s wallet, cell phone, and identification. A search by Ingleside officers failed to locate the suspects. Both victims were treated at San Francisco General Hospital for their injuries. Report number 130092884
