Be vigilant of suspicious vehicles pulling up and its occupants asking for directions and/or to use your phone and then fleeing the scene with your property.

7:46pm 1600 Blk Geneva Warrant Arrest
Officers Uang, Peregoy, Trail and Hopkins were on patrol when they observed a vehicle driving with one of its headlights out. They conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle and made contact with the driver and its occupant. A computer check on the driver showed that his driver’s license had been suspended and also showed an outstanding warrant for his arrest, guess what for? Driving with a suspended license! The driver was taken into custody without further incident. The vehicle was released to the passenger who had a valid driver’s license. The driver was taken to Ingleside Station and booked accordingly on the outstanding warrant and traffic violation. Report Number 130089370.
Serious Incidents:
6:40pm Mission/30th Theft
Officers Castillo and Leong were dispatched to a call of robbery that took place at Mission and 30th Street. They met with the victim who said she boarded the Muni bus at 16th and Mission. She said she made her way to the back of the bus and was holding her Iphone in her hands throughout the bus ride. When the bus came to a stop at 30th and Mission Street, an unknown suspect snatched her Iphone out of her hands and exited the bus. The victim quickly jumped out of her seat and attempted to grab the suspect but was unsuccessful. The victim chased after the suspect and realized there was a second suspect running as well. The victim said she was warned by the second suspect not to chase after them. The victim chasing after them and instead alerted passerby’s to call the police. Officer Fulgado tracked down the MUNI bus and requested the video surveillance. The victim was not injured in the incident. Report Number 130089160.
