Arrests:

1:30pm       1600 Blk Sunnydale     Burglary
Officer Almaguer and Officer Hom were advised by Sgt Pedroza that a subject, who resided and frequented the Sunnydale Housing Development Area, had been identified as a suspect in a residential burglary. Both officers knew the subject as they have had prior contact with him. The officers were driving on the 1500 Block of Sunnydale when they happened to spot the subject walking down the street. Both officers made contact with the subject and took him into custody without further incident. Report number 120666524

9:03pm       50 Phelan                      Narcotics
Officer Burlyga, assigned to the San Francisco City College Police Department, was patrolling the City College of San Francisco, Ocean Campus. At approximately 0903PM he noticed a Silver Sedan parked on the campus. Officer Burlyga drove by the vehicle and observed two subjects inside and smelled a strong odor of Marijuana emanating from the open windows. Officer Burlyga contacted the subjects to conduct an in depth investigation. During the investigation, Officer Burlyga located large amounts of narcotics inside two backpacks located inside the vehicle. At the conclusion of Officer Burlyga’s investigation, one subject was released from the scene while the other subject was booked on numerous narcotics charges. All narcotics were seized at the scene and booked in as evidence. Report number 120712133

9:00am       500 Blk Cortland          Theft
Officers Broderick and Rueca were dispatched to a theft.  The reportee advised that while they were having a food giveaway a woman and male entered the premises and began loitering.  She observed the male exit with something bulging out of his jacket area.  Another employee later noticed the tip jar was missing.  The reportees stated that both suspects frequent the area and that they could recognize them if they saw them again.  Officers searched the area but were unable to locate the suspects.  Report number 120707162

10:00am     200Blk Ocean               Threats
Officer Frisk was sent to a threats call.  The owner of the store advised that she had advised a customer that he was no longer welcome in the store because he had indirectly threatened her husband.  Since that day, the suspect frequents the store continually and has made the owner feel uncomfortable.  The owner stated that she is fearful of him because of his erratic behavior and his unpredictability.  The officer searched the area unsuccessfully for him and provided the victim information as to what actions to take when the suspect returns.  Report number 120710096
