Arrests:

1:27pm       1800 Blk Sunnydale     Trespassing
Officer Peregoy and several other Ingleside officers were on patrol in the Sunnydale Housing Projects when they responded to assist Sgt. Knoble regarding trespassers who were loitering in the housing projects.  A records check revealed that neither of the two males resided in this particular housing project.  The officers had a security coordinator respond to the scene and he signed a citizen’s arrest to have the suspects cited.  They were both cited and advised not to return to the area.  Report Number 120306930

5:20pm       600 Blk Los Palmos      Warrant
Officers Antonian and Chan were dispatched to a restraining order violation. They met with the reportee and the suspect at the same time.  Officer Chan met with the reportee who stated that she had an active restraining order on the suspect that was detained and wanted him advised and escorted off of the premises.  She provided the officers with a court endorsed copy of the order and requested no further police action.  Officer Antonian interviewed the suspect who stated that he came to pick up some of his belongings and that he was aware of the restraining order.  He was transported to Ingleside station pending further investigation.  The reportee was given follow up information.

At Ingleside station, a records check revealed the suspect had several active warrants which were confirmed.  At the instruction of Sgt. Moran he was booked into custody.  Report Number 120307881

7:05pm       Unit Blk Talbert           Fraud
Officers Hurwitz and Tam conducted a parole search of a premise where they located several items of stolen property, narcotics and paraphernalia.  They took the suspect into custody and booked him at Ingleside station.  Report Number 120305299

8:40pm       200 Blk Santos              Narcotics
Officers Chan and Antonian were on patrol when they observed a vehicle with a failed front head lamp.  They affected a traffic stop and identified the driver by his California Driver’s License.  The driver stated that he was on probation with a search condition and a records check confirmed this.  The officers affected a search of the vehicle and located a plastic bindle containing a clear crystallized substance believed to be methamphetamine.  The driver was placed under arrest and transported to Ingleside station.  The vehicle was legally parked at the owner’s request.

At Ingleside station the officers performed a presumptive test of the white substance which tested positive for methamphetamine.  At the instruction of Sgt. Moran the suspect was booked into custody.  The officers hand delivered the narcotics to the Narcotics Drop Box at the Hall of Justice.  Report Number 120303914

5:45am       300 Blk Elsie                 Burglary
Officers Pai was sent to a burglary.  The victim advised that she left several bicycles unsecured in a storage locker and was unsure if she closed the garage door when she left.  She returned home to find the bicycles missing.  The officers located no sign of forced entry and provided her with follow up information.  Report Number 120306269

7:00am       400 Blk Holladay          Burglary
Officers Morse and Gomez responded to a burglary.  The victim advised that he locked and secured the home and when he returned found damage to the front gate and door and several items missing.  The officers took pictures of the damages and provided the victim with follow up information.  SFPD’s Crime Scene Investigations Unit advised they would be responding to the scene.  The officers located no other sign of forced entry.  They booked all evidence at Ingleside station.  Report Number 120308124

7:00am       Unit Blk Hearst             Burglary
Officers Morse and Gomez were sent to investigate a burglary.  The victim advised that he locked and secured the premises when he left for work.  His son returned home and found the gate open and the front door frame cracked.  Several items were missing from the home.  The officers determined the front door to be the point of entry and exit.  They took pictures of the damage to the door and the condition of the home and provided the victim with follow up information.  They contacted SFPD’s Crime Scene Investigations Unit who said they would be responding to process the scene.  All evidence was booked at Ingleside station.  Report Number 120307728

11:00am     2400 Blk Bayshore       Theft
Officers Gonzalez and Yuen responded to a theft of a bicycle.  The victim advised that he had left his bicycle in a common area of the apartment complex and when he returned the bicycle was missing.  He was unable to provide any further information and the officers provided him with follow up information.  They were informed there were no surveillance cameras in the area.  Report Number 120308362

12:00pm     100 Blk Baltimore        Fraud
A victim responded to Ingleside station and told PSA Cato that he received a collection notice for an account he had never authorized.  He provided the PSA with a copy of the invoice which she booked into evidence.  She provided him with follow up and identity theft information.  Report Number 120307831

5:20pm       1100 Blk Visitacion      Vandalism
Officers Duffin and Bernard were on patrol when they responded to a fight.  They met with the reportee who stated that he heard a commotion outside and when he exited his apartment saw several females arguing.  One of the females had a baseball bat and was smashing the windows on a green vehicle.  They then went inside one of the apartments.  A suspect then exited the green vehicle and then began smashing the windows on another parked vehicle.  She then boarded the green vehicle and left the area.  A witness provided the officers with the suspect’s name and they searched the area unsuccessfully for the suspect and the green vehicle.  Officer Bernard took pictures of the damage to the victim’s vehicle and booked them into evidence.  The officers located the baseball bat which they booked into evidence at Ingleside station.  They provided the victim with follow up information.  Report Number 120307251

5:30pm       600 Blk 28th                  Burglary
Sgt. Miller responded to a burglary.  The victim advised that he locked and secured his bicycles in the garage area with a cable and padlock.  He was advised in the morning by some workers that his garage door was open.  The victim noticed the bicycles missing.  He located some rebar on the floor which Sgt. Miller believed was used to pry open the door.  He took pictures of the scene and booked them into evidence.  He did not believe contacting SFPD Crime Scene Investigations Unit was warranted.  He provided the victim with follow up information.  Report Number 120306316

6:10pm       400 Blk Cortland         Theft
Officer Elton and several other Ingleside officers were on patrol when they were flagged down by the manager of a store. He stated that a woman entered the store, took several items and exited the store without paying.  A witness pointed out the woman and a home she entered when she left the store.  The manager did not observe the theft and was relaying information given to him by a customer.  He stated he would obtain a copy of the video surveillance for further investigation.  He was provided with follow up information.

The officers responded to the home the reportee pointed out and a male answered the door.  He told the officers that no women resided at that address.  Report Number 120307938

7:00pm       Brazil/Prague              Theft
Officers Park and Chang were sent to investigate a car boost.  The victim was Spanish speaking and Officer Najarro responded to the scene for assistance.  The victim told them that he parked and secured his vehicle and when he returned found the vehicle open and several items missing.  He could provide no further information and provided the victim with follow up information.  The officers processed the vehicle for any fingerprint evidence to no avail.  Report Number 120306043

8:30pm       700 Blk San Jose          Burglary
Officer Hornstein responded to a report of a burglary.  The victim stated she arrived home and was unsure if she closed her garage.  She shares the garage with several other tenants in the building.  In the morning, she was advised by her neighbor that the garage was open.  The victim said she founds several items missing but no sign of forced entry.  Officer Hornstein inspected the area and determined the suspect entered and exited through a possible open garage door.  He found no sign of forced entry and therefore did not notify SFPD’s Crime Scene Investigations Unit.  He provided the victim with follow up information and an additional loss form.  Report Number 120306617

11:00pm     600 Blk Duncan            Burglary
Officer Goldsborough was dispatched to a burglary.  The victim advised that he left his new bicycle in the garage of his home in the original shipping box.  He woke up in the morning and noticed the box and bicycle were missing.  A male knocked at his front door and had the empty box with him and asked the victim not to leave his garbage on the street.  The victim advised he had been the victim of a burglary.  He was unable to provide any further information and was provided with follow up information.  SFPD’s Crime Scene Investigation Unit was not contacted due to the lack of physical evidence.  Report Number 120307922

11:30pm     100 Blk Peralta             Theft
Officers Anderson and Jones were dispatched to an auto boost.  The victim advised that she parked and locked her vehicle and was awoken by her dog barking and glass shattering.  She looked out her window and saw a male holding her bag and running down the street.  She went outside and noticed the window to her vehicle was smashed.  She provided a description of the suspect and officers canvassed the area for the suspect unsuccessfully.  The officers did not process the vehicle for lack of physical evidence.  They provided the victim with follow up information.  Report Number 120305976

A victim responded to Ingleside station and told PSA Cato that he was attempting to file his taxes online and was told his taxes had already been filed.  He contacted the IRS and they requested he file a report.  He was provided with follow up information.  He provided a written statement and the PSA booked the statement into evidence.  Report Number 120307621
