11:40am Persia & Mission St Battery
Officers Fung and Sugitan responded to a report of an assault. The officers located one suspect standing on the sidewalk. The suspect pointed to a second suspect and told the officers that he had punched him in the face for no reason. The suspect showed the officers his teeth and explained that they were chipped. The suspect said he wasn’t sure if his teeth got chipped from this incident, or from several other fights he’s been in on Mission St. The officers contacted the second suspect. The second suspect told the officers that he and the first suspect had gotten into a verbal argument. The first suspect pushed the second suspect in the chest, but he denied ever punching him. Both suspects wanted to press charges against the other for battery. The officers accepted citizen’s arrests from both suspects and placed both suspects under arrest. Report 120303914
5:17pm Unit Blk Phelan Ave Warrant
SDFCCPD Officer McGlaston was on patrol when he spotted a vehicle stopped in a lane of traffic, preventing vehicles from passing by. A passenger exited the vehicle, and the vehicle made a u-turn. The officer then noticed that the two front windows of the vehicle were tinted in violation of the California Vehicle Code. The officer conducted a traffic stop and contacted the driver. A records check revealed that the driver was wanted on an outstanding warrant for burglary. The driver was arrested. Report 120291046

Officers McCall and Lozano responded to a report of an attempted robbery. The victim was standing in front of his house when the suspect approached him. The suspect demanded the victim’s money. The victim told the suspect that he didn’t have any money and took out his phone to call police. The suspect told the victim that he would come back and walked away. Report 120305885
7:30am 600 Blk Duncan St Burglary
Officers Wong and Pai were dispatched to a report of a well-being check regarding an open garage door. When the officers arrived, they found the garage door of the residence wide open, and an audible burglar alarm was activated. The officers located pry marks on the door frame and damage to the dead bolt. The officers contacted a neighbor to get the contact number for the owner of the residence. The officers contacted the victim, who was out of town. The victim was able to confirm that two bicycles were stolen from the garage. Report 120303293

PSA Zabarte took a report regarding false personation. The victim filed his taxes and was informed that his return was rejected because a return had already been filed using his social security number. The victim did not know how his personal information was stolen. Report 120303362
10:58am 800 Blk London St Theft
Officers Pai and Wong responded to a report of theft. The victim parked his work vehicle, leaving it unlocked and unattended. The victim also left an unlocked box with cash in it sitting on the front seat. The victim returned from his delivery and realized that a suspect had stolen the cash out of the box. Report 120303685

Officer Preston was dispatched to a vandalism report. The reporting party was a house guest of the victim. He pointed out damage to the front gate handle. The suspect did not gain entry into the residence and nothing appeared to be stolen. Report 120303920d

Officer Preston responded to a report of burglary. The victim was in his residence with the door unlocked because he was expecting friends to come over. A suspect entered the premise and the victim watched as he took the victim’s shaving kit. The suspect fled. The victim called his wife and waited day before calling the police. Report 120304718

PSA Cato took a report regarding false personation. The victim was informed by his tax preparer that his return was rejected because a return had already been filed using his dependant son’s social security number. Report 120304489

PSA Cato took a report regarding false personation. The victim was notified by a private investigator regarding the fraudulent use of her personal information. A suspect had registered multiple email addresses using the victim’s information. Report 120304611
6:04pm Persia & Moscow St Reckless Driving
Officers Padilla and Seavey were working in plain clothes driving a vehicle equipped with red and blue lights, and a siren. The officers spotted a vehicle driving by them and were able to see the driver enough to note his description. The officers witnessed the vehicle run through two posted stop signs, without making any attempt to stop. The vehicle then suddenly accelerated out of the officer’s sight. The officers responded to the area where they last saw the vehicle and spotted it. The officers pulled behind the vehicle. The vehicle suddenly drove around a vehicle that was traveling in front of it, and proceeded to drive straight through a solid red light. The vehicle nearly collided with several pedestrians who had to quickly move out of the way. A MUNI bus who had the right of way had to come to a sudden stop. The officers advised dispatch of the incident, but did not pursue the vehicle. Through further investigation, the officers were able to identify the driver as a suspect who is on probation for a felony hit and run. Report 120304978

Officers Gomez and Kerlegan were dispatched to a report of theft. The victim was walking towards the bus stop talking on her cell phone. The victim was holding her cell phone up to her ear. She suddenly felt a suspect grab her cell phone. The suspect gained control of the cell phone and fled. Report 120305039

Officer Chan responded to a report of a suspect brandishing a weapon. The victim told the officer that had been in a dispute with two suspects regarding parking. The suspects banged on the victim’s door demanding that she move her vehicle. The victim was scared and quickly moved her car. As she was exiting her car, the victim saw one of the suspects follow a second victim into the garage. The suspect pulled up his jacket revealing a black handgun. The victim’s ran into the house to get away from the suspect. The suspects fled. Report 120305459

Officers Hom and Pedersen were dispatched to a report of burglary. The victim secured her residence and left. Upon her return, she discovered the door leading to her backyard was open.
