Arrests:

4:21pm       San Jose/Santa Rosa    Traffic Violation
While Officers Lim and Conceicao were on patrol they noticed a man and a woman that were believed to be suspects in a burglary. The Officers stopped and detained the suspects and proceeded to question them. After the Officers conducted a record check, they discovered that both suspects had a suspended license and their vehicle that they were standing next to had false registration tags. The suspects admitted driving their vehicle from their house and parking it on San Jose Ave. Officers then placed both suspect under arrest and then issued them citations for driving with a suspended license, parking in a red zone, and false vehicle registration tags. Both suspects now have a date to appear in court! The vehicle was towed. Report number 120002075

12:36am     1700 blk Alemany        Malicious Behavior
Officer Lundy was dispatched to a gas station regarding damaged property. The Officer was told by an employee that after a customer made several attempts to pump his gas without success he became very angry at him. The suspect then began yelling at the victim and fled when the victim told him he was calling the police. As the suspect drove away he did not remove the gas nozzle from his vehicle and severely damaged the gas pump. The suspect was believed to be under the influence of alcohol. Report number 120000110

2:00am       Mission/Lowell              Aggravated Assault
Officers Lozano and McCall were dispatched to a call regarding an assault. When the Officers arrived three Daily City Police units were already on scene. The victim was lying on his back and was not able to provide officers with any information because he was slipping in and out of consciousness. The suspect was transported to the hospital and was later able to inform the Officers that he was jumped by two Hispanic males and hit in the back of the head with an unknown object. Officers searched the area for suspects and witnesses but the search was negative. Report number 120000609

3:05am       Mission/Excelsior          Robbery
Officer Lundy was dispatched to a strong arm robbery call. The Officer met with the victim and was told that after exiting the MUNI bus she was approached by four black males. One of them pushed her from behind and the other grabbed her Iphone from her back pocket. The suspects then fled the scene. A witness that saw the four suspects fleeing the scene was unable to provide Officers with descriptions or any other information. Report number 120000615
 
6:30pm       200 blk Seneca              Malicious Mischief
Officers Shugars and Paras were dispatched to investigate car vandalism. The Officers were informed by the victim that she was inside her residence and heard a loud noise outside. The victim then left her residence to inspect the noise and noticed that someone had lit fireworks near her rear bumper and had damaged her vehicle. Approximately a ten inch hole was made in the bumper. There were no witnesses and a search for suspects was negative. Report number 120013302

7:08pm       Santa Rosa/Cayuga      Attempted Theft
 Officers Chang and Park were dispatched to a call for service. Upon arriving on scene the victim identified herself and informed Officers that someone just tried to rob her. While the victim was walking down the street someone came from behind her and reached into her front pocket. The victim scream scared the suspect that took off running. The victim was not able to get a good description of the suspect but did state that he was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt. Report number 120002495

11:05pm     100 blk Arbor               Malicious Mischief
Officers Anderson and Ferronato were dispatched to a location where a resident believed that some unknown suspects were attempting to break into a car. The resident told Officers that he witnessed the suspects looking into the vehicle and walking around the car. He then heard breaking glass but did not see who broke the window. The witness then began shouting at the suspects and they fled the scene. The witness told Officers that the vehicle belonged to a neighbor that was out of town for the holidays. The officers searched the area for suspects but the search was negative. Report number 120002837
