Arrests:

9:25am      100 Blk Trumbull                 Battery
Officer Morgante and several other Ingleside units responded to the call of a battery.  They spoke with reportee who stated she had had an argument with another tenant in the home.  The suspect punched victim on her right cheek tated she fell into a thorn bush as the incident occurred outside.  The officer noticed visible scratches on the victim from having fallen into the bush.  She complained of pain and an ambulance was summoned to medically clear her.  Suspect was present at the scene and admitted getting into an altercation with the victim and pushing her.  Victim signed a citizen’s arrest and suspect was cited for the battery.  Report 110667742

1:05pm      900 Blk Geneva                             Shoplifting
Officer Thompson was dispatched to a theft.  He spoke with reportee who advised he observed a female enter the store, place several items in her pocket and exit the store without making any attempt to pay for the items.  Reportee exited the store and detained the suspect.  Reportee signed a citizen’s arrest to have suspect cited.  Officer Thompson identified the suspect and she was cited for the theft.  Report 110668251

2:25pm      Alemany/Sickles                  Battery
Officers Naval and Morrow responded to the call of a battery.  He met with victim who stated he was driving on Sickles and turned onto Alemany Boulevard.  Victim said he was stopped at the stop sign when a male in a vehicle behind him exited his vehicle, approached his vehicle on the driver’s side, began yelling and punched him repeatedly in the face.  Victim called the police and upon arrival the officers detained the suspect.  The suspect stated that he was upset because the victim had cut him off and almost caused an accident.  Victim refused medical assistance.  He signed a citizen’s arrest and the suspect was cited for the battery.  Report 110668483

2:35pm      4900 Blk Mission                 Robbery
Officer McMilton and various other Ingleside units responded to the call of a robbery of a disabled individual.  They met with victim who stated he was waiting for the bus when he felt someone grab his left arm and attempt to take the IPod which was in his left hand.  Victim pushed the suspect away and was punched and knocked to the ground.  Victim stated he was repeatedly punched and kicked while on the ground.  The officers could see visible injuries but victim refused medical assistance at the scene.  Various witnesses spoke with the officers and gave a detailed description of the suspect.  The officers shortly thereafter detained an individual matching the description at Mission and Geneva.   One of the witnesses approached Officer McMilton was approached by one of the witnesses who positively identified the individual who was detained as the suspect.  Officers located the IPod on the suspect and took pictures of the suspect and the IPod as evidence.  The suspect was taken into custody and booked at Ingleside station for the robbery.  Report 110668499

9:25am      Unit Blk Garrison                 Warrant Arrest
Officer Liberta and several other officers from the Violence Reduction Task Force were patrolling the Sunnydale Housing area when they observed several individuals loitering in the area who attempted to avoid the officers.  The officers detained the suspects and a computer check revealed one to have any outstanding warrant.  He was taken into custody without incident.  Report 110669732.

3:00am      1000 Blk Munich                  Vandalism
Officers Dilag and Lundy responded to the call of a broken window.  They met with victim who advised he was in his home when he heard a loud smashing sound and found a brick had been thrown through his living room window.  He was unable to offer any additional information to the officers.  The officers booked the brick into evidence and provided victim with follow up information.  Report 110667344

7:00am      Unit Blk States                     Vandalism
Officers Lee and Morgante were dispatched to a reported vandalism.  They spoke with a victim who stated that he left his home and secured it, when he returned he found the front gate lock had been tampered with.  He was unable to provide any further information.  The officers took pictures of the damage and booked them into evidence. CSI was not notified. Report 110668370

Officers Lee and Morgante were dispatched to a reported vandalism.  They spoke with victim who stated that he left and secured his home and when he returned found the front gate had been tampered with.  He was unable to provide any further information.  The officers took pictures of the damage and booked them into evidence.  Report 110668411

8:00pm      900 Blk Ellsworth                Theft
Officers Hart and various other Ingleside officers responded to a theft call. The victim advised the officers that she was talking to a known suspect when unexpectedly he reached into her jacket pocket and grabbed her money.  The victim told the officers that the suspect got into a waiting vehicle and fled the area with her money.  The victim was uncooperative and refused to supply the officers with any further information regarding the theft or suspect.  Report 110669356

9:15pm      3300 Blk Mission                 Threats    
Officers Lundy and Dilag responded to investigate a verbal altercation. The victim advised the officers that she approached a male suspect and asked him what he was doing inside the store. The male suspect profane language and told the victim that he was going to come back and get her.  The victim perceived this as a threat and requested a police report.  The officers observed a surveillance video and took note of a detailed description of the suspect.  Report 110669588
