Arrests:

12:32 am   Mission/Excelsior               Drunk in Public
Officers Otaguro and Baldovino were on patrol when they noticed a subject staggering, pick up a newspaper stand and throw it in the street. The officers decided to talk to the suspect. The suspect had all the signs of intoxication. The suspect was placed under arrest for drunk in public. When the officers got to the station and asked the suspect for information, he refused. Instead of spending 4 hours in custody and going home, the suspect was transported to City Jail and booked. There were no injuries to the newspapers. Report number 110435975

9:53 am     Virginia/Mission                 Vandalism
Officers Altamirano and Thompson were sent to investigate a vandalism incident. The officers were given a description and when they arrived, they located a subject that matched the description holding a spray can in his hand. The officers detained him and spoke with the owner of the building. The owner of the building told the officers that he had just had that wall painted and that it cost him $5000. The owner wanted to press charges and signed for the suspect’s arrest. The suspect was arrested and booked at ingleside station. Because of the amount of damage, the suspect was charged with a felony. Report number 110436575

9:41 pm     Cayuga/Seneca                Drunk Driving
Officers Gonzalez and Pereira were patrolling the district when they noticed an orange vehicle drive right through a posted stop. The officers caught up to the vehicle and stopped it for the violation. When the officers made contact with the driver, they noticed a strong odor of alcoholic beverage from inside the car. The driver of car was observed to have bloodshot eyes and thick speech. Due to the state of intoxication, the driver was arrested and a chemical test administered. Report number 110438151

Officer Smethurst was sent to investigate a theft case. The victim told the officer he went out drinking and met a male suspect at a bar. The victim told the officer that he had been drinking a lot and described himself as being "Drunk". The victim told the officer that he and the suspect decide to go to his home and got there in a cab. The victim told the officer that he and the suspect started arguing about something and that the victim told the suspect that he had to leave. The victim went to his room and passed out. In the morning the victim still felt drunk and noticed his pants were missing. The victim had his personal property stolen by the suspect. The victim checked his bank account and discovered that someone had made a $185 charge on his card. The victim could not remember what the suspect looked like. Report number 110436581

Sgt Miller prepared a report regarding a theft that occurred in a laundromat. The victim told the e officer that she was doing her laundry and left her purse unattended for a moment. The victim told the officer that when she returned she discovered that her wallet was missing. The victim did not notice any one take the wallet. Report number 110436804

Police Services Aide Cato prepared a report regarding a theft case. The victim came to the station and told the PSA that he parked and locked his car in front of his home last night. The victim told the PSA that when he returned to his car, he discovered that someone had broken a window and removed property that was sitting on the front seat of the car. There were no suspects seen. Report number 110440106
