6:38 am Persia/Madrid Assault
Officers Gonzalez and Pereira were sent to investigate an assault incident. When the officers arrived the found one of the victims being tended to by medics for injuries sustained during this incident. The victim told the officers that she, along two other friends were crossing the street when a green vehicle that was travelling fast almost hit them. The victim told the officers that she looked at the driver and said "woe". The driver of the car made a U-turn, got out of the car and began to beat the victim. The passenger of the car also got out and attacked the victim. The victims’ boyfriend tried to intervene only to receive a broken nose. Both suspects got back into the car and fled. What the suspects did not realize was that one of them dropped his license and DMV paperwork at the scene of the crime. The officers broadcast the information and followed the victims to the hospital to continue their investigation. A short time later officers Tam and Padilla notified the officers at the hospital that they had located the suspect vehicle along with both suspects! After both victims positively identified both suspects, the suspects were booked. Once again Ingleside officers were able to work as a team and make the arrest. Report number 110194535. 2:30 am 1800 blk Sunnydale Vandalism
Officers Crispin and Lozano were dispatched to investigate two suspects breaking windows. The victim told the officers that the known suspects came and engaged her in conversation while she was at the window. The victim told the officers that she has had problems with both suspects in the past. The suspect began to argue with the victim and got so mad that they kicked the victim’s window. The victim told the suspects that she was calling the police. The suspects jumped into a black car and fled.
7:00 am 600 blk Excelsior Attempted Burglary
Officers Park and Chang responded to a burglary call. The officers spoke to the victim who told them that he left home in the morning and locked everything. When he came home he was unable to unlock the front gate with his keys. The victim had to gain entry through a side door and force the front gate. The officers observed saw marks and pry marks. Because there was not physical evidence the officers did not contact CSI. Report number 110194557
2:05 pm Jarboe/Bronte Theft from Auto
Officers Gamboa and Toomey were dispatched to a car break in. the victim told the officers that while he was inside his van cleaning an unknown suspect broke his passenger window. The suspect did not realize the victim was inside. The victim chased the suspect, but he was able to get away. Report number 110193816
3:00 pm Tioga/Rutland Vandalism
Officer Apodaca was sent to investigate a vandalism case. The victim told the officer that he parked his van and was clean. When he returned today he noticed that an unknown suspect had used a marker and vandalized it. Report number 110197250
7:00 pm 3100 blk Folsom Vandalism
Officer Murphy was on patrol and conducting a "Passing Call" in Precita Park because of the number of car break-ins. The officer was flagged down by a victim of vandalism. The victim told the officer that when he came to his car he found that someone had broken the passenger window of his car. The victim told the officer that there was no loss, but wanted the incident documented. Report number 110193496
8:30 pm Brookdale/Santos Robbery
Officers Ma and Anderson responded to a robbery call that had just occurred. The victim told the officers that she was waiting for the bus when four suspects ran up to her and grabbed her purse and began pulling. The victim told the officers that she fell to the ground. Once the suspects had her purse they fled the scene. Report number 110194999
