4:43pm Unit Block Gladstone Dr Stay Away Order
Sgt. Rainsford and Officers Hauscarriague and Almaguer contacted a suspect at a residence where the suspect was known to have a stay away order. The officers took the suspect into custody with no further incident. Report 110205740
5:26pm 3900 Blk Mission St Theft, Shoplifting
Officers Chew and Lim responded to the 3000 block of Mission St for a report of a shoplifter. The officers contacted the suspect who was being detained by store security for stealing several food items. The suspect was cited and released from the scene for theft. Report 110205916
7:25pm 800 Blk San Jose Ave D.U.I.
Officers Leong and Castillo were on patrol in the area of San Jose Ave and Dolores St when they observed a vehicle stopped in a flowing lane of traffic. The vehicle was preventing other vehicles from proceeding forward, thus impeding the flow. The officers made contact with the driver, who they found slumped over in his seat, asleep. After waking up, the driver stepped out of the vehicle and the officers noticed that he smelled of alcohol. The officers performed field sobriety tests on the driver and determined him to be under the influence of alcohol. The driver was booked on driving under the influence of alcohol. Report 110206312
9:26pm 300 Blk Crescent Warrant Arrest
Sgt. Rainsford and Officers Almaguer, Hauscarriague, Burke and McMilton made contact with a suspect who was known to have an outstanding warrant. The suspect was taken into custody with no further incident. Report 101155102
10:40pm Unit Blk Watson Place Warrant Arrest
Officers Pedersen and Lundy responded to a report of a verbal argument. Upon arrival, the officers contacted the involved parties. A records check indicated one of the subjects had an outstanding warrant and was reported as a missing person. The officers took the suspect into custody with no further incident and booked him. The officers made notifications to remove him from the missing person’s database. Report 110206798
11:43pm 300 Blk Judson Ave Weapons Arrest
Officers Hom and Cassinelli were on patrol near the 300 Block of Judson Ave when they saw a vehicle with illegal tint on the windows. The officers contacted the driver and noticed that he was making sudden movements and concealing his hands. The driver exited the vehicle and the officers conducted a pat down search for weapons. The officer located an illegal concealed butterfly knife on the driver’s person. The driver was not able to produce his registration or insurance paperwork. The officers searched the glove compartment for the papers and located a gun magazine loaded with ammunition. The driver stated that he had a gun in the trunk of his car that was registered to him. The driver was able to provide proof the gun was registered to him and a further computer check confirmed this. The driver was booked on the knife weapon charge. Report 110206958

PSA Heckenberg took a report regarding vandalism to a vehicle. The victim stated that he parked his car near his home the day prior with no damage. The victim said that the next time he saw his vehicle, it had noticeable scratch marks to the trunk and the door panels. Report 110204491
2:20pm 800 Blk Cortland Ave Theft, Shoplifting
Officer Lim responded to a call regarding a theft. The victim told the officer that the suspect entered the store, grabbed a part of a coffee maker, and fled out the front door. The victim saw the suspect get into a dark colored sedan the fled Northbound on Gates St. The officer searched the area for the suspect with negative results. Report 110202780
3:00pm Unit Blk Ora Way Suspicious Occurrence
PSA Flynn took a report from a citizen regarding a suspicious occurrence. The citizen stated that she parks her car in an unsecured lot near her home. She said that she returned to her vehicle and found that the contents of her glove compartment had been removed and stacked on the passenger seat of the vehicle. She stated that there was no damage to the vehicle and that nothing was taken. Report 110205427
5:00pm Mission/Excelsior Sts Theft From Vehicle
PSA Flynn took a report of theft from a vehicle. The victim stated that he parked his vehicle and locked his laptop in the trunk while he went to have lunch. The victim said when he returned home with the vehicle and opened the trunk, the laptop was gone. Report 110205687

Officer Lundy responded to a report of shoplifting. The officer contacted the store security who stated he saw a suspect leave the store with a bottle of alcohol without paying for it. The officer searched the area for the suspect with negative results. Report 110206839
