8:40am            1580 Valencia St        Suspended License
Officer Smethurst was on patrol when he saw a vehicle make an illegal u-turn.  The officer conducted a traffic stop and contacted the driver.  A records check of the driver revealed that he had a suspended driver’s license.  The driver was cited for driving with a suspended license and released from the scene. 9:35am             500 Block Portola Ave                  Battery
Officer Aslam responded to a report of a battery.  Witnesses informed the officer that there had been a fight between two juvenile subjects on a school campus.  Upon further investigation, the officer learned that one of the juveniles involved had been admonished on previous occasions not to return to school grounds.  The officer located the suspect and subsequently cited him for battery and trespassing. 1:50pm             Valencia/Mission Sts      Suspended DL
Officer Bear was on patrol when she noticed the motorcycle in front of her had expired registration tags.  A records check of the motorcycle revealed the registration had been expired since April of 2007.  The officer affected a traffic stop on the vehicle and contacted the driver. The driver told the officer that he did not currently have a license. A records check confirmed that the driver had a suspended license.  The driver was also driving without an endorsed motorcycle driver’s license.  The officer cited the driver for the above listed violations and released him from the scene.  Report 110202592

4:43pm             Unit Blk Blythdale Ave   Stay Away Order
Officers Toomey and Gamboa were on foot patrol in the area of Blythdale and Sunnydale Aves.  At this time, Officer Toomey recognized a suspect that he knew had a restraining order from public housing.  The officers attempted to make contact with the suspect who subsequently ran away from them.  The officers chased after the suspect for several minutes as other officers responded to assist.  The suspect was finally apprehended and booked on a stay away order violation and resisting arrest. 4:21am              3000 Block Mission St          Vandalism    
Officer Anderson responded to a call of a person breaking windows at a business.  The officer found one damaged window.  Several officers searched the area for a suspect and detained one subject who matched the description.  The subject was identified but witnesses refused to get involved.  The subject was release at the scene. 7:00am              Gambier/Pioche St    Vandalism, Vehicle
Officer Lee took a counter report at Ingleside station regarding vandalism to a vehicle.  The victim stated that when she approached her vehicle to leave in the morning she saw that the driver side window had been broken.  The victim said that there were no items taken from the vehicle. 7:00am              Unit Block Elk St                      Vandalism
Officer Najarro responded to a report of vandalism of a baseball field.  The reporting party informed the officer that she came into work in the morning and discovered that the baseball field had been damaged.  The officer observed large tire marks in the field as if a vehicle had gotten stuck in the grass and had spun its wheels, kicking up large pieces of grass.  There were also several tire marks indicating a vehicle had driven in circles on the grass. 8:00am             100 Block Highland Ave              Battery
Officer Najarro responded to a report of a battery.  The victim told the officer that he was punched in the mouth by a co-worker for no apparent reason.  The victim was transported to SFGH for further medical evaluation.  The officer searched the area for the suspect with negative results. 1:30pm             San Jose/Mt Vernon Aves          Threats
PSA Heckenberg was working station duty and took a report of threats.  The victim stated that the suspect threatened to burn his camper or break its windows.  The victim said the suspect was holding a wrench and pointed it at the camper. Report 110201936

2:00pm             Powell/5th Streets                          Battery
PSA Flynn was working station duty and took a report of battery.  The victim stated she was on a Muni bus paying her fair when a suspect punched her in the left shoulder.  The suspect followed her to the back of the bus where he punched her again, this time in the right shoulder.  The victim said she started yelling that the suspect was punching her, at which time he exited the bus and fled. 2:00pm             1000 Block Sunnydale Ave          Burglary
Officers Obot and Johnson were flagged down by a citizen regarding a burglary.  The victim stated that a laptop computer had been taken from an office that had been left locked and secure.  There was no apparent damage to the office door or lock. Report 110202887

7:20pm             700 Block Eddy St      Indecent Exposure
SFCC Officer Hector was flagged down by a citizen regarding a man that had exposed himself to her.  The officer located the suspect who subsequently fled.  The officer pursued the suspect on foot but he was lost in the area. Report 110203647

10:30pm           100 Block Gambier St    Theft frm vehicle
PSA Heckenberg was working station duty and took a report of theft from a vehicle.  The victim stated the front driver side window of her vehicle had been smashed.  Several items were taken including and iPod and cash. Report 110201710
