SFCCPD Officer Burlyga responded to a fight call at the City College Campus with numerous Ingleside Officers.  Officer Burlyga located two men who stated that a third man, who had been fighting with them, had fled but should be nearby.  The officers searched the area and located a heavily intoxicated young man.  The victims stated that the man had tried to get them to pay for an open parking spot and fought with them when they refused and demanded that he get out of the space.  Officer Burlyga took the man into custody and booked him at County Jail for public intoxication.  The victim declined to press additional charges.  Report number 110119458

10:08 pm       Cortland/Bennington           Stolen Auto Arrest/Warrant
Officers Hurwitz and Daggett, working in an unmarked vehicle in plain clothes, observed a vehicle being driven recklessly by a young woman.  The officers got a good look at the driver, but then lost sight of the vehicle while making a turn.  The officers searched the area and located the vehicle, now parked and unattended, at Murray and Holly Park Circle.  The officers searched the area for the suspect and found her attempting to hide in some nearby bushes.  The officers identified themselves as police officers and detained the suspect, placing her in handcuffs with the suspect giving the officers a slight resistance.  The officers contacted the vehicle owner with the assistance of South San Francisco PD officers who responded to the vehicle owners’ home.  The vehicle owner was unaware until then that his vehicle had been stolen.  The officers found that the vehicle had been started with a shaved key, a burglary tool.  The suspect was placed under arrest and taken to Ingleside Station where she was later booked.  She was also the subject of an arrest warrant in Daly City, and had a suspended drivers license. The vehicle was released to its grateful owner.  Report number 110119890

Officers Lim and Conceicao responded to grocery store regarding a fight.  The officers met with the victim, a store clerk, who stated that he had witnessed the two suspects via store security cameras, placing items into a backpack held by of the suspect.  The clerk waited at the front of the store for the suspects to pay for the items or attempt to leave with the items.  At the store exit the victim contacted the suspects who then attempted to punch the clerk numerous times.  The clerk was able to bring both suspects down to the ground with the assistance of a male customer and held them for the arrival of the officers.  The officers took over the custody of the subjects and found that they were both juveniles and intoxicated.  A half empty bottle was found in the suspects’ bag along with the items they attempted to steal.  The suspects were continuously uncooperative with the officers and failed to comply with their lawful commands.  The officers called for backup and were able to get the suspects under control and transported them to SFGH due to their intoxication level.  At the hospital their parents were summoned and they were cited and released to their control.  Report number 110119696

Officer Araujo responded to a broken window incident.  The victim had flagged down Lt Vintero as he was patrolling the area.  The victim told the officers that he left his home over night while he was at work and found the damaged upstairs window upon his return.  No entry was made to the home and no property was stolen.  Report number 110117377

PSA Cato was approached at Ingleside Station regarding a dog bite incident.  The victim stated that he was walking near his home when an unleashed and unattended dog bit the back of his lower leg causing the skin to break.  A woman in the household ran out and controlled the dog and the victim went home.  Later the victim was seen at the hospital for his injury and spoke with the dog owner who provided him with his contact information for this report.  Report number 110118870

Officers Sanchez and Curry responded to a suspicious person call.  The caller believed that two suspects were casing vehicles.  Upon their arrival, the officers met with a woman who stated that her vehicle had just been damaged by the suspects, who she saw run from the area.  The officers located numerous individuals who provided the officers with the last seen locations of the suspects.  The suspects ran from that location to the Ellsworth Housing Complex.  The suspects were unable to get away with any property after breaking the window of the victims vehicle.  The suspects were described at an African American male, 19-20 years old, wearing blue jeans with a blue t-shirt, and as an African American female, 19-20 years old, with hair in a pony tail, white stretch pants and a brown leather jacket. Officer Gamboa responded to a fraud call.  The victim told the officer that he was approached by an Asian male adult, 26-27 years old, 5’10, 290 lbs, wearing a brown plaid polo shirt, brown slacks, and a black fanny pack, in the parking lot of a drug store.  The suspect asked the victim for directions and then told the victim a story about having to give money to Catholic Churches in San Francisco in order to then get a much larger monetary reward.  The suspect showed the victim a letter from and insurance company and the victim believed him.  The victim was promised a share of the money if he helped the suspect make the donations.  The suspect had the victim provide money to him to as a show of good faith.  A second suspect also showed up with money for the first suspect, making the victim feel the deal was safe.  The victim went to his home and returned with a large amount of cash which he gave to the suspect.  The suspect then excused himself from the victim stating that he would return soon.  The victim waited and waited, finally realizing that he had been duped.  The second suspect was described as an African American male adult, 5’9, 190 lbs, wearing a long sleeved yellow shirt, yellow pants, and was clean shaven.  Report number 110118632

Officers Antonian and Dudley responded to a burglary call.  The officers met with the victim who stated that she had returned to her residence after being gone for several hours and found that the front security gate and front door were wide open.  She entered her home and immediately saw that numerous items had been stolen then called for the police.  The officers searched the home and found that the suspects were long gone.  The victim detailed the numerous electronics and jewelry items that were stolen.  The officers located a nearby residence that has security cameras.  The officer contacted the homeowner who was cooperative with the officers and offered to make a recording of the footage for this investigation.  Report number 110118949

SFFD responded to a vehicle fire and contained the blaze which appeared to have started in the engine compartment.  The officers were unable to contact the owners of the vehicle and the cause of the fire was not determined.  The vehicle was towed with a hold for the Arson Investigation unit.  Report number 110120198
