Witnesses
called dispatch to report that the driver of a 2014 Audi A6 had collided with a
parked car which collided with other parked cars and a gate of a nearby
residence. Ingleside Officer Dungca and Calupad arrived and found San Francisco
Fire Department personnel removing the trapped Audi driver from his car. After
removal, the driver was transported to San Francisco General Hospital for
treatment. The officers searched the driver’s Audi and found five bottles of
Vodka on the passenger floorboard. Three bottles were empty, one was half full,
and the other was full. At the hospital, the suspect consented to a blood
alcohol test. A phlebotomist arrived and obtained a sample for testing. The
suspect was cited for DUI and released into the care of the medical staff who
were treating him for acute alcohol withdrawal. Report number: 170915218

Ingleside
Officers Hardy and Scott were on routine patrol when they were waved down by
several pedestrians who pointed to a car parked nearby. The vehicle’s interior
was fully engulfed in flames. The officers called for fire assistance and SFFD
Engine 43 arrived soon thereafter and extinguished the blaze. The officers
attempted to contact the owner of the Honda, but were unsuccessful. The car was
towed to impound and the case was assigned to the Fire Department’s Arson
