Arrests:

12:20am      400 Blk. Vienna            Stolen Vehicle/Marijuana for Sale
Ingleside Officers Cortez and Dedet ran the plate on a Saturn driving south on Moscow Street and discovered the vehicle was reported stolen out of Daly City. The officers requested assistance and pulled the vehicle over near Vienna and Brazil Streets. Inside the stolen car the officers found several juveniles and a significant quantity of marijuana, scales to weigh the product, and a large amount of cash. All the occupants were taken to Ingleside Station. The unlicensed driver was taken to Ingleside Station and later interviewed by San Mateo Police Department detective. He was cited and later released. The other occupants were released to their parents. Report number: 170910672

2:05am       San Jose & Randall        D.U.I
A report of a traffic collision on the Muni streetcar tracks prompted dispatch to send Ingleside Officers Zhao and Fogarty to investigate. When the officers arrived they found the driver and passenger standing outside their car which was stuck on the tracks. A witness told the officers she observed the driver make a left turn from westbound Randall onto southbound San Jose, but instead of proceeding on the roadway, the driver entered the Muni tracks, struck a light pole, and came to a stop. The woman driver exited the car and stood looking at the damage until Officers Zhao and Fogarty arrived a short time later. The driver, who had blood shot eyes, unsteady gait, and alcohol smell on her breath, told the officers she had only consumed one beer at a Union Street bar that evening. The suspect was given a standard roadside sobriety test and failed each portion of the exam. She agreed to take a breath alcohol test and was driven to the CHP San Francisco office where the exam revealed a blood alcohol level almost three times the legal limit. The suspect was transported to the County Jail and booked for DUI. Report number: 170910876

12:15pm     Visitacion & Mansell      Excessive Speed
Ingleside Officer Fitzpatrick was dispatched to investigate a traffic collision involving a single vehicle. When she arrived on scene she found an older Toyota Camry with severe damage. The unlicensed woman driver told the officer she was fleeing unknown suspects who had fired shots at her. She said she was traveling at a high rate of speed down Mansell when she attempted to make a left turn onto Visitacion and collided with a pole.  She refused medical attention. She also refused medical attention for her young toddler son who was in the car. The driver was cited for excessive speed and released at the scene. Her car was towed to impound. Report number: 170912048

2:30am       2900 Blk. Alemany         Burglary
An audible burglar alarm prompted dispatch to send Ingleside Officers Ferronato, Dedet, Cortez-Cendejas, Anderson, Burke, Lim and Cvetovac to a supermarket on the 2900 block of Alemany. When they arrived they found the store office in disarray with file cabinets open and contents spilled onto the floor. They also found the rear door and front door damaged by the burglars. Store video surveillance revealed four suspects entering, traveling throughout the store, before leaving. The store manager said the only items missing were cigarettes. Store video and other evidence, including clothing belonging to the burglars, was turned over to investigators. Report number: 170911078
