All are welcome to attend.We hope to see you there!San Francisco Police Statement on Las Vegas Tragedy andFleet Week PreparationsThe men and women of the San Francisco Police Department offer their condolences to those impacted by Sunday’s tragedy in Las Vegas.As the City begins a week of special events, we want to reassure the public that we are working with our local and federal partners to provide a safe environment for everyone. The public can expect to see a visible police presence including officers on foot, motorcycle, on horseback and in patrol cars at the various events around the City.The Department has staffed up for this week’s events with no discretionary time off allowed for SFPD officers. District stations will be staffed and we will have additional resources on hand for any spontaneous events. There are no known threats to the City or any special events. Arrests:9:27pm 2800 Blk. Diamond RobberyA woman customer, sitting at a table in a coffee shop, was startled when a man entered the shop, grabbed her laptop from the table, and fled the store. The woman, along with a witness, chased the suspect for several blocks until the suspect got in the passenger side of an older Honda Accord and fled the scene. She called police and, within the hour, Ingleside Officers Lee and Seavey spotted the suspect’s vehicle in the 300 block of Arbor. The officers radioed for assistance and, along with Officers Hardy and Scott, followed the car until stopping the suspect’s vehicle at Diamond Heights and Addison Streets. The victim was driven to the arrest scene and positively identified the man who took her laptop. Both suspects were arrested for robbery and the Honda was towed to impound. Report number: 170799642Serious Incidents:2:00am 5300 Mission Street RobberyA gathering of friends was interrupted by three masked suspects who broke into the building and robbed the 7 men and women of a significant amount of cash, jewelry and electronics. All three suspects were armed and threatened the victims if they didn’t surrender their valuables. They also wore “Jason” type masks along with gloves. Ingleside Officers Hardy, Dedet, and Dominguez responded to the scene and interviewed the victims who were fortunately unharmed. One of the cellphones taken during the robber was recovered by Officers Scott and Hardy on a footpath near the 2800 block of Alemany. Report number: 1707976527:30pm San Bruno & Arleta RobberyA traffic dispute resulted in one driver being robbed and suffering injuries. The victim told Ingleside Officers Mora, Fitzpatrick, Archilla, Lee, and Seavey that he was waiting at the entrance to the 7-11 parking lot for a car to leave a parking space. While waiting another car tried to exit and could not because the victim was partially in the driveway. The woman driver got out and yelled at the victim and then kicked the victim’s passenger side door. The victim exited his car to assess the damage and to confront the suspect. But, when he did, four other women exited another car which was also waiting to exit and attacked him forcing him to the ground. The suspects then grabbed his cell phone and broke his IPad. All four suspects then sped away. Medics were summoned who treated the victim at the scene for minor injuries.
