The next Ingleside Community meeting will be held in the Ingleside Police Station Community room on Tuesday, October 17, 2017 at 7p.m.  There will be light refreshments available to those who come to the meeting.  All are welcome to attend.

    San Francisco Police Statement on Las Vegas Tragedy and

                                 Fleet Week Preparations

The men and women of the San Francisco Police Department offer their condolences to those impacted by Sunday’s tragedy in Las Vegas.

As the City begins a week of special events, we want to reassure the public that we are working with our local and federal partners to provide a safe environment for everyone. The public can expect to see a visible police presence including officers on foot, motorcycle, on horseback and in patrol cars at the various events around the City.

The Department has staffed up for this week’s events with no discretionary time off allowed for SFPD officers. District stations will be staffed and we will have additional resources on hand for any spontaneous events. There are no known threats to the City or any special events. As always, we remind everyone, “If you see something, say something.” Call 911 to report suspicious activity or crimes in progress.

Serious Incidents:

9:45pm       Bayshore & Leland               Robbery

Two women waiting to go home on the #9 Muni bus were approached by two unknown robbery suspects. The victims told Ingleside Officers Parker and Stoffel that the suspects, produced a handgun, and demanded money and their cell phones. One of the victims surrendered a backpack containing clothes then ran across Bayshore Blvd., flagging down a motorist, who called police. The other victim surrendered her phone just as the bus arrived. She quickly boarded the bus and watched as the suspects ran to waiting car with a third suspect. The three suspects then fled the scene. Report number: 170797232
