All are welcome to attend.We hope to see you there!San Francisco Police Statement on Las Vegas Tragedy andFleet Week PreparationsThe men and women of the San Francisco Police Department offer their condolences to those impacted by Sunday’s tragedy in Las Vegas.As the City begins a week of special events, we want to reassure the public that we are working with our local and federal partners to provide a safe environment for everyone. The public can expect to see a visible police presence including officers on foot, motorcycle, on horseback and in patrol cars at the various events around the City.The Department has staffed up for this week’s events with no discretionary time off allowed for SFPD officers. District stations will be staffed and we will have additional resources on hand for any spontaneous events. There are no known threats to the City or any special events. As always, we remind everyone, “If you see something, say something.” Call 911 to report suspicious activity or crimes in progress.
Arrests:11:42am 1800 Blk. Sunnydale Stolen VehicleIngleside Officers Scott and Hardy were on routine patrol when they spotted an older Chevrolet Monte Carlo parked at the curb. The car, with two occupants, was listed as stolen. The officers turned on their emergency lights and conducted a felony apprehension of the two occupants. Both occupants, a man and a woman, identified a second woman as the driver of the car. The officers found the woman exiting a nearby home and after confirming she was the driver, placed her in custody. She was transported to Ingleside Station for booking and her two passengers were released at the scene. Report number: 170794313
Serious Incidents:10:05pm Dublin & Persia RobberyA newer Honda Odyssey van, wanted in a felony robbery case, was spotted by Ingleside Officers Stoffel, Parker, and Sherry while they were on routine patrol. The officers stopped the Honda and asked the two occupants to exit the car which they did. A check with officers in the Bayview Station Investigative Team resulted in the Honda being towed to impound and the two occupants, who were not wanted for the robbery case, released at the scene.
