Arrests:12:12am Mission & Onondaga Assault of Police OfficerThe driver of a PT Cruiser, which was driving erratically, caught the attention of Ingleside Officers Mroz, Espinosa, and Anton. The officers activated their emergency lights and stopped the driver near Mission and Onondaga. Officer Mroz asked the driver for his license, insurance, and registration. He refused. The officer asked the driver to turn off the ignition and remove the key. He again refused and started arguing with the officer. Mroz then reached through the window to turn off the ignition, but the driver rolled up the window pinning Officer Mroz’s arm. The officer was finally able to push the window down and, with the help of Espinosa and Anton, open the door and pull the suspect from the vehicle. He was still combative once out of the car and all three officers struggled to place him in handcuffs. He was finally subdued, arrested, and taken to the County Jail where he was booked for resisting arrest, assault of a police officer, and other crimes.
