5:00pm                               Persia Ave/Naples St               Robbery w/knife
Ingleside officers Burke and Anderson were dispatched to a report of a fight. When they arrived on scene they found it wasn’t a fight but a violent robbery. The victim, bleeding from a cut on his hand as well as bruises to his head and body, told the officers he was walking on Persia near Naples, carrying a hover board, when four men exited a car and started attacking him. He was punched and kicked several times and one of the suspects took out a knife and slashed his thumb. The suspects then took his hover board and Jordan shoes and got back in their car, which sped away. A medic was summoned to treat the victim’s wounds. Report number: 170560471

A store manager, as well as his security guard, became suspicious when three young women who had robbed him before, entered the premises. Both store employees watched as the three loaded up groceries into a shopping cart and pushed past the checkout counter out the store. The store employees attempted to stop the suspects but were unable to prevent the theft.
