Serious Incidents:

6:45pm                          4700 blk Mission St                                   Robbery
Officers Cortez and Tom were dispatched to a report of a robbery involving a gun.  Additional units responded as back up.  When they arrived, they contacted the victim, who was a store clerk.  She told the officers that she was working behind, but had been turned away from the door.  At this time, a suspect entered and approached the counter.  When she turned back towards the counter, the suspect pointed a gun at her stomach and demanded money.  As the suspect held the gun pointed at the victim, he reached over the counter and was able to get the cash register drawer open. The suspect grabbed all the cash from the drawer and fled.  Luckily, the victim was not injured during the incident, but was transported to the hospital for feeling faint and dizzy.  This matter is still under investigation.  Report 170563613

11:10pm                        300 blk Roanoke St                                    Robbery
Officers Dominugez and Mroz responded to a report of a robbery with a gun.  Upon arrival, they located the victim.  The victim told the officers that she was walking home when she noticed a man walking towards her.  As the two approached each other, the victim said the suspect pulled out a gun and pointed it at her face.  He demanded her backpack and cell phone.  Fearing for her life, the victim handed the backpack over.  The victim then saw a second suspect approach.  This suspect patted her down looking for more property.  The victim asked the suspect if she could have her keys from the backpack, and they refused, telling her they knew where she lived.  Both suspects then fled.  Report 170564150
