Arrests:
12:03am Ocean & Alemany Marijuana for Sale
A
vehicle with no license plates caught the attention of Ingleside Officers
Stoffel and Dominguez. It was lucky they did. Many suspects neglect to put
license plates on their newly bought vehicles to avoid tolls and registration
fees. The officers asked for backup and stopped the driver at a nearby gas
station. When they approached the vehicle they smelled the strong odor
marijuana. Inside the car were several bags of the substance packaged for sale.
But what really surprised them was another bag containing three stacks of cash
in small denominations. The cash added up to approximately $14,000. The driver
and his passenger were taken to Ingleside Station and booked for transportation
and possession of marijuana for sale. Report number: 170392224

Bruno Theft
A young man playing games on his IPhone was the victim of a
theft. The man told Ingleside Officers Stoffel and Dominguez that he was
sitting in the back of a #8 Muni bus when the suspect suddenly ran up from
behind him, snatched the phone, and ran off the bus. The victim chased the
suspect for a short distance before stopping his pursuit. Stoffel and Dominguez
did recover another phone in the area that may belong to the suspect. The
officers reviewed the phone’s social accounts in effort to identify the owner.
