Ingleside
officers Valenzuela and Kerlegan were dispatched to investigate a physical
attack on a store employee. The victim told the officers that he found a
customer sitting at the back of the store, eating chicken, at the blood
pressure machine. The store owner told the suspect that he can’t sit there and
eat food he hadn’t paid for. The suspect angrily responded by scratched the
victim’s arm and spitting soda at him. He then left the store.
Officers Valenzuela and Kerlegan found the suspect at a nearby bus stop and
arrested him for battery. Report number: 170226395
