Arrests:

7:07pm       100 Blk. Dublin                        Warrant Arrest
Three experienced Ingleside officers, Officers Lustenberger, Barajas, and Jensen, well versed on the narcotics trade in the neighborhood, spotted an older Chrysler Pacifica leaving a familiar address on Dublin Street. The officers followed the Chrysler for a short distance before activating their emergency lights. The driver made a furtive stop on the 200 block of Naples Street, before taking off at a high rate of speed. The three officers radioed for backup and pursued the vehicle. During the pursuit, a rear door on the Chrysler opened and one of the occupants tumbled out and began to run away. Officer Barajas jumped out of the patrol car pursued and then captured the occupant after a short chase. Lustenberger and Jensen were able to capture the driver and passenger when the suspects finally stopped their vehicle in the 700 block of Madrid. The first suspect, who jumped from the car in attempt to escape, was wanted on an active warrant from a San Francisco court. He was arrested for the warrant. The driver of the vehicle was unlicensed and was on active probation. Report number: 170294602

Serious Incidents:

1:00pm       Bayshore & Visitacion              Robbery
An elderly woman waiting for the bus, was attacked and robbed. The victim told Ingleside Officers Ocreto and Alioto that an unknown man walked up behind her and shoved her with both hands. The victim stumbled and almost fell. Then the suspect grabbed the shopping bag and the two, victim and suspect, struggled for control before the bag ripped and the contents fell to the ground. The suspect then grabbed the victim’s wallet and escaped southbound on Bayshore Blvd. The victim refused medical attention but both Ocreto and Alioto, because of frail condition and slow gait, had to help her to the radio car. Report number: 170296529
