The next Ingleside Community meeting will be held in the Ingleside Police Station Community room on Tuesday, November 15, 2016 at 7p.m.  There will be light refreshments available to those who come to the meeting.  All are welcome to attend. Thank you.

U.S. DOJ COPS Office Collaborative Reform San Francisco Assessment - Translations and Open Comment

The COPS Office just released the two translated versions of the Executive Summary: An Assessment of the San Francisco Police Department. This is the executive summary, and findings and recommendations to the full report, Collaborative Reform Initiative: An Assessment of the San Francisco Police Department. Additionally, we are still accepting feedback on the Assessment Report until Saturday, November 12th. You may provide your feedback anonymously online or by e-mailing sanfrancisco.crita@usdoj.gov. The COPS Office is unable to provide a specific response to each comment received, but we will take the feedback into consideration in our overall response.

Serious Incidents:


1:30pm       1000 Blk. Prague                             Robbery
Two suspects surprised a citizen who had just returned home from the bank. The victim told Ingleside Officers Vong and Trail that the two robbers surprised him as he walked up the stairs to his home. One pulled him to the ground and the other reached into his pocket and stole a significant amount of cash. The suspects then fled down Prague Street toward Geneva. Report number: 160890169



4:30pm       Mission & Russia                            Robbery
A woman pushing a stroller with her young child was accosted by a robber. The victim told Ingleside Officers Mendiola and Trumpp that the suspect ran up behind her and grabbed her backpack. She successfully struggled to keep her backpack but the suspect was able to take her cell phone from a pocket inside the backpack. The victim yelled for help and a witness, seeing the robber running away on Russia, gave chase. However, he was unable to catch up to the suspect. Report number: 160890711

8:13pm       Geneva & Cayuga                           Theft
Dispatch sent Ingleside Officers Hoge, Garza, and Wells to the intersection of Geneva and Alemany to investigate a report of a robbery. When they arrived, they found a young woman, the victim, who lost her cell phone to a pair of suspects. She told the officers that she was walking on Geneva toward Mission and noticed she was being followed by two men on bicycles. As she crossed Cayuga, one of the men grabbed a cell phone from her hand and, with his accomplice, sped away. Report number: 160891236
