3:50pm 50 Phelan Ave. Reckless Driving
A young man, in an older Mercedes, decided to perform some
“donuts”, screeching tires in a circle, in the lower reservoir parking lot at
City College. Community College police Officers Flood and Ibarra heard the
screeching and quickly drove to the reservoir to arrest the suspect. The driver
was cited for reckless driving and driving without a driver’s license and
released. The vehicle was towed to impound. Report number: 160887564

4:17pm Silver &
Cambridge Theft
A Lowell High School student, riding a packed Muni coach, felt
someone tug her backpack while standing in the aisle. She told Ingleside Officers
Ocreto and Cvetovac that when she exited the bus at Silver and Cambridge she
noticed her wallet missing from the backpack. The wallet contained a small
amount of cash and her high school ID. Report number: 160887746

Edinburgh Attempted Robbery
Ingleside Officers Cvetovac and Ocreto were dispatched to take
a report of an attempted robbery. The victim told the officers that he was
walking down the street when he saw two men walking toward him. When they got
closer, one of the men reached into a pocket, took out a knife, and said “give
me your backpack”. The victim, fearing for his life, turned around and ran as
he fast as he could northbound on Brazil Street before making it home on the
500 block of Persia Street. The victim said the suspects did not chase him when
