7:11pm       1400 Blk Church                     Assault
An accidental bump between two Muni Passengers resulted in a violent assault. The victim told Ingleside Officers Calupad and Ahern that he was on his way home on the “J” Church streetcar when the train stopped suddenly, causing the suspect to accidentally hit the victim in the head with his elbow. The victim looked at the suspect for a second and the suspect angrily asked, “What are you looking at?” The victim, expecting an apology, instead, got a threatening outburst, “If you keep looking at me I’m going to break your face.” The victim averted his gaze and when the train reached 27th street, started to exit the streetcar through the back door. But, the suspect and an accomplice blocked his way. The victim pushed through the two, and the suspects, grabbed him from behind, threw him to the floor, and pummeled him with fists and kicks. The suspects then exited the train and fled south on 27th Street. The victim refused medical attention. Ingleside Officers Tien and Elliston searched the immediate area for the suspects without success. Report number: 160807653
