2:08pm 100 Blk Phelan Recovered Vehicle
An employee, with the On Star Stolen Vehicle Unit, got a hit
on a stolen Hertz rental car parked near City College. He called the police for
assistance and Ingleside Officers Vong and Langley arrived and located the
stolen car with a driver inside. The Hertz Rental Car Company had notified On
Star, which had disabled the vehicle’s ignition. The driver, who attends City
College, admitted he took the car for a test drive and didn’t return it. He
said he left school and when he got into the car he noticed it was disabled. He
called On Star and asked them to activate the vehicle’s ignition, but they
refused. Instead, He was taken to Ingleside Station and booked for auto theft.

8:13pm 4600 Blk Mission Attempted Robbery
A man walking down Mission, towards Ocean, was approached by a
man carrying a firearm in his hand. The suspect asked for money, but the victim
ignored his request and kept walking while dialing “911” on his phone.
Ingleside Officers Labson, Rissetto, Marshall, Der, Henderson, and Garza arrived
soon thereafter and located the suspect near Mission and Persia Streets where
he was placed in custody. A computer check revealed he was wanted on D.U.I
warrant. He was also on felony probation. The 9mm weapon was stolen from an
address in Pittsburgh, California. A search of his clothing revealed a quantity
of methamphetamine. He was transported to Ingleside Station for booking. Report

Serious Incidents:
11:15am 300 Blk Amazon Robbery/Hot Prowl Burglary
An elderly woman was awakened by a loud banging coming from
the garage. The woman went downstairs and was immediately attacked by four
masked men, who broke open the garage door. The woman was beaten and strangled
and momentarily lost consciousness. One of her sons, who also heard the noises,
was also beaten and kicked. The four suspects ransacked the downstairs and the
bedrooms upstairs taking valuables and money from the residence. Ingleside
officers Hill and Suguitan, along with several other units, responded to the
scene and searched the immediate area for suspects. Medical help was summoned
to treat the two injured victims. Report
