There have been reports of a telephone scam going around recently.  An individual will call requesting personal information from you.  DO NOT PROVIDE ANY PERSONAL OR FINANCIAL INFORMATION TO ANYONE OVER THE PHONE.  Please alert the police by going to your nearest police station or calling the non-emergency dispatch line (553-0123) if you are contacted by any of these individuals.  Thank you.

4:12am                            4900 Blk. Mission                        Recovered Auto
Ingleside Officer Villalozano was on routine patrol when he spotted a stolen 1999 Honda Civic, with four passengers, driving down Mission Street. Villalozano requested assistance and Ingleside officers Dilag, Mackenzie, Landis, Dudley, Toomey, Wong, and Sergeants Singh and Mitchell responded. The officers stopped the stolen Honda and ordered the occupants out of the vehicle. The driver was operating the stolen car without a license and the vehicle’s keys. She was arrested and transported to Ingleside Station. One of the male rear passengers had several warrants for his arrest out of Daly City and South San Francisco. He was placed in custody and transported to Ingleside Station. The two other passengers were released at the scene. The owner of the stolen car arrived on scene to reclaim his property. 11:29am                             Mission & Silver                       Warrant Arrest
Ingleside Sgt. Kumli and Officer Stucki were on routine patrol when they saw a man they spotted earlier that morning peering into parked cars. The officers stopped their patrol car, got out, and approached the suspect asking for his identification. A computer check revealed an outstanding “no bail” arrest warrant out of San Francisco for willfully violating a court order. He was taken to Ingleside Station and booked for the warrant. 3:55pm                     Bennington & Highland                False Registration
Ingleside officers Hopkins and Henderson were on routine patrol when they spotted an older Ford Interceptor with a peeling 2016 license tag. The officers, while following the vehicle, ran the plates and discovered the Ford’s registration had expired in August of last year. Hopkins and Henderson stopped the vehicle and the driver admitted that his registration had expired and that he used the tags from another vehicle he owned on the Interceptor. He was cited for the infraction, his license plates were confiscated, and his vehicle was towed to impound. Report number: 160530741
 
5:23pm                           Unit Blk. 29th Street                                 Warrant
Two men drinking cans of beer, while sitting on the steps of a home, caught the attention of Ingleside officers Tweedy and Wells. The officers asked each for identification and discovered one of the men was wanted an outstanding felony warrant from San Francisco. He was taken into custody and arrested for the warrant. The other man was cited for drinking from an open container in public. Report number: 160531062
 
5:27pm                     1300 Blk. Alemany Blvd                                Warrant
Ingleside officers Ocreto, Barajas, Lustenberger, and Zasly were dispatched to an address to investigate a suspicious person. It was an address where there had been many previous arrests for illegal activity. The officers found a man who had been arrested several times before for narcotics violations. A computer check revealed that he was wanted for two outstanding warrants for his arrest. He was put in custody and transported to Ingleside Station for booking. Report number: 160531084
