There have been reports of a telephone scam going around recently.  An individual will call requesting personal information from you.  DO NOT PROVIDE ANY PERSONAL OR FINANCIAL INFORMATION TO ANYONE OVER THE PHONE.  Please alert the police by going to your nearest police station or calling the non-emergency dispatch line (553-0123) if you are contacted by any of these individuals.  Thank you.

5:39pm                     Unit Blk. 30th Street                     Aggravated Assault
Several Ingleside units, including officers Ahern, Paras, and Sgt. Ly, were dispatched to a call of a fight among several men in front of a pizza restaurant. When the officers arrived they found several combatants suffering various injuries and the front windows of the restaurant broken. After interviewing the combatants, the officers arrested one of the suspects for aggravated assault and another for burglary and several outstanding arrest warrants out of Alameda County. The victims told the officers they were unloading supplies from a truck in front of the restaurant when one of the suspects stole a case of beer out of the truck. The restaurant employees tried to stop the theft and a fight broke out between the suspect, one of the suspect’s friends, and the two employees. Medical personnel were summoned to treat the injured. A man walking down the street felt a tap on his back. He turned around and was confronted by a suspect holding a gun. The suspect asked him to empty out his pocket and the victim complied, surrendering his wallet, bank cards, cell phone, and identification. The suspect then escaped running eastbound on Baden towards Monterey. Report number: 160528718
